BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition officially unveiled at IFA 2017

When the BlackBerry KEYone was first released, it was a black-and-silver handset that stood out not only for its color scheme, but also because of that physical keyboard and stock Android experience.

Now it looks like BlackBerry and TCL have decided to black things out. Following the reveal of a have we seen the “blacked out” model in India and AT&T’s exclusive “Space Black” variant, there’s a new blacked out KEYone that has been unveiled at IFA 2017.

The BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition is now official. According to TCL, the handset will launch in the third quarter of 2017 in the UK, Germany, France, Canada, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Japan. It will be priced at €649EUR/£549 GBP/$799CAD/2,299 AED/¥79,800 JPY.

The BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition is similar to the original handset in most ways, including the same 13MP camera on the back and the fingerprint sensor that’s built into the space bar on the physical keyboard below the 4.5-inch display. The one major difference with this Black Edition variant is that it offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.

With the matte black finish, the KEYone Black Edition certainly stands out. Do you prefer the blacked out variant or the silver-accented finish?
