BLU Vivo 8L now available with 20-megapixel front-facing camera

The latest Android smartphone from BLU Products places a focus on selfies.

The BLU Vivo 8L is now official. One of its highlight features is its front-facing camera, which is a 20-megapixel “Super Selfie” camera. The camera’s also got an f/2.0 aperture, 4-cell technology that BLU says allows in 4 times the normal amount of incoming light, and beautification software.

The rear camera on the BLU Vivo 8L is a 13-megapixel shooter with a Sony IMX258 sensor. It’s equipped with an f/2.0 aperture, real-time HDR, Phase Detection Autofocus, and Laser Focus.

BLU has also included a 5.3-inch 1280×720 display on the Vivo 8L along with an octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor and 3GB of RAM. There’s 32GB of built-in storage as well as a microSD slot for adding more storage if you need it, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole package. The Vivo 8L’s body includes a metal black and a Gorilla Glass front.

The BLU Vivo 8L is available right now at Amazon, and for a limited time, BLU is offering a significant discount. The Vivo 8L is sold unlocked, and it includes support for GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S.
