Essential Phone update now rolling out with November security patches

Essential today released a new update for its flagship phone, and there are two big parts to it.

The Essential Phone is now being updated to build NMJ32F. The update brings with it the November 5, 2017 Android security patches as well as a fix for fingerprint gesture-related instabilities.

If you don’t yet have this update on your Essential Phone, you can check for it by going into Settings > About Phone > System Update.

It was just yesterday that Google unleashed its November 2017 security patches, so it’s great to see Essential pushing out those same patches just one day later.
