Color options are an easy way to make a phone stand out, and HTC has certainly stood out in this regard with the U brand and its brilliant hues. Now new leaks show that HTC might be changing things up yet again with the upcoming U11 Plus.
A newly leaked video shows both the U11 Plus and the U11 Life in plain view. The HTC U11 Plus appears to have a translucent rear panel and we can see a coil below the HTC logo, which may hint at wireless charging support. Edge Sense gets shown off, too, and we also see a rear-mounted fingerprint reader between the branding and camera.
The other device in the video is the unannounced U11 Life. It has a fingerprint reader below the display and it will reportedly have a design that’s smaller than the U11 Plus. It’s possible that this handset gets announced on November 2 as well.

Finally, Evan Blass has taken to Twitter to post an image of the HTC U11 Plus which appears to show the translucent design again. It’s an interesting choice to go with an official release, and it will certainly stand out.
Either way, we should find out on November 2 what HTC is planning, translucent designs and all.
