With modern technologies, first world problems like shouting across the house that dinner is ready are becoming a thing of the past. The latest feature to hit Google Assistant is broadcasting, which allows you to broadcast your voice from your phone to the Google Home devices around your house.
Need to tell your family that dinner is ready? Need to call your kids from their room? Rather than yelling or texting them, you can broadcast your voice through Google Home. Of course, this only works if you have a few devices strewn around your home. You can even do this from outside the house; you don’t need to be at home to make your voice heard throughout the house.
While that sounds a little weird, it’ll definitely be a useful feature to many people. It’s rolling out today to devices that are set to U.S., Australia, Canada and U.K. English, with further language support coming soon. Will you be using this feature? Leave a comment!
