Sometimes there are games that launch on the iOS platform with a broad exclusivity window in place. Depending on the popularity of that game, Android fans can feel left in the dark as they wait to see when or even if the game will make the jump to their chosen mobile operating system.
One such title is HQ Trivia. It’s a game that has been available on iOS for a bit of time now, and if you aren’t aware of it, it’s a live trivia game that can be played with real world competitors in real time. It has a dedicated time slot for week day games (3:00 PM ET), and then every day of the week at 9:00 PM ET. You can even win real money for answering questions correctly.
Well, it turns out that an Android version of the game is right around the corner, as made official by the Twitter account for the game. The account suggests that HQ Trivia will be landing on the Google Play Store in time for Christmas. The description of the HQ Trivia Twitter account also reads, “Coming for Android on Christmas.”
HQ Trivia is a free download on the iOS App Store, so it’s likely that it will also be free to download when it lands in the Play Store soon.
