Qualcomm is hosting the second annual Snapdragon Technology Summit today, where companies and Qualcomm’s customers come together to announce new products and technologies. One of the announcements made is the new Snapdragon 845 mobile processor.
The Snapdragon 845 is the successor to the flagship Snapdragon 835 we see in most flagship smartphones today. Details are sparse but we do know that the chips will be made by Samsung Foundry.
The chips will find their way into future smartphone flagships (with Xiaomi already announcing support for the chip) as well as “Always Connected PCs” running Windows. The full announcement is coming tomorrow, so stay tuned!
