Google Play Music for Android has been updated to v8.7 and the biggest change is not that big at all. Nonetheless, it’s a feature many have been asking for, and it should make our customizable, beautiful Android experience just a little better.
The new app version adds a toggle for the album art replacing the lockscreen wallpaper while music is playing. If you don’t want your low res or unattractive album art covering your beautiful wallpaper, you can now disable it.
Unfortunately, this feature only applies to Google Play Music and not any other music app. Still it’s a great addition to our favorite (and very flawed) music app.
