If you have an iPad and have been wanting to use Google Assistant on the larger iOS device, then the wait for the oft-requested feature is finally over.
Google Assistant has been available for iPhones for about a year, and today Google announced that it is offering native support for Google Assistant on the iPad. This means that the app now supports displays between the sizes of 7.9 and 12.9 inches. With Google Assistant on the iPad, users will be able to set reminders and calendar events, ask for answers to questions, check the weather, and even control smart home accessories.
The Google app also supports iOS multitasking, which means you can use Google Assistant while you use other apps.
Google Assistant for the iPad is rolling out today, and it includes support for French, Japanese, English, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
