The HTC U12 first popped up at an industry event, but since then, the handset was also the subject of a pretty extensive leak that showcased the handset’s rumored high-end specifications.
Now, thanks to the fine folks over at HTCSource, a new tidbit has surfaced. According to information gathered from a “trusted source”, the handset is going to combine the two design cues from the HTC U11 and U11+. The U12 will boast a metal frame which will feature curved glass on the front and back of the handset.
There will also be a fingerprint reader on the back of the U12. But one of the more potentially exciting elements might be the rumored matte white finish that the publication was able to learn is in development. Unfortunately, there aren’t any pictures of what this might look like.
For a quick refresher, the HTC U12 is rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, a pair of cameras on the back, a 5.99-inch QHD+ display, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage. The battery is said to measure in at 3420mAh, and the U12 will also include “HTC Face Unlock” for that must-have biometric security measure these days.
Are you looking forward to seeing what the U12 has to offer?
