OnePlus 5T no longer being sold in North America

OnePlus 5T official

After four months on the market, OnePlus has run through its entire stock of OnePlus 5T smartphones for North America. The upstart Chinese company practices business a little differently than its competitors, relying on buzzy marketing strategies, rabidly loyal fans, and limited production runs for one device at a time. When the stock of a device is depleted, that’s the end of the line.

For OnePlus, the success of the OnePlus 5T is an important vote of confidence from the North American market. The company saw 139 percent growth in North America last year, and the trend is continuing, with unexpectedly high demand causing the OnePlus 5T to sell out sooner than anticipated. Because of its production schedule, the company currently has no flagship smartphones on sale in North America, leaving potential customers high and dry until its next release.

If you were in the market for a OnePlus 5T in North America, it looks like luck isn’t on your side this time. That being said, rumors are pointing to a powerful new OnePlus flagship coming later this year. Just make sure to act quickly when you decide to purchase.
