LG confirms G7 ThinQ, launch event happening May 2

After leaking out a few times in recent weeks, the LG G7 ThinQ has been confirmed.

The LG G7 ThinQ has been announced as LG’s next premium smartphone. LG didn’t share any spec details or images of its G7 ThinQ, but it did confirm that the flagship includes AI features. It also “enhances the ability to interact with other devices”, according to the translated announcement.

LG says that it will fully unveil the G7 ThinQ in New York City on May 2 and in Seoul on May 3.

After working to create AI features for the V30S ThinQ, it makes sense that LG would would want to include them in another flagship smartphone. One such feature is AI CAM, which tries to recognize what you’re pointing your camera at and recommend the optimal shooting mode for you.

Rumors have said that the LG G7 ThinQ will include features like a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. What features will LG need to include in the G7 ThinQ to pique your interest?
