Google releases VR180 app for Android and iOS

VR180 is Google’s new virtual reality project that allows you to record 180 degrees of video rather than 360. While not as immersive, Google believes it can be a higher quality virtual reality experience.

Coinciding with the launch of the Lenovo Mirage Solo and Mirage Camera, the first  VR180 gear on the market, Google has released the VR180 app for both Android and iOS. This app allows you to set up the aforementioned devices as well as manage your media.

From the app you can view the videos you took, upload them to YouTube and Google Photos, and even set up live streams on YouTube with the headset. You’ll also be able to see the status of your devices, like battery life and storage.

Hit the source link to download the app if you picked up one of the Lenovo devices!
