BLU Pure View features dual front cameras and it’s now available with launch discount

One week after launching a new smartwatch, BLU Products has released a new Android smartphone, too.

The BLU Pure View is now available from Amazon, and it’s getting a limited time launch discount. It’s being sold unlocked and is compatible with GSM networks.

When it comes to specs, the BLU Pure View is packing a 5.7-inch 1440×720 display with 18:9 aspect ratio and slim side bezels. Above that display are dual 8MP cameras with a 120-degree wide angle lens, f/2.2 aperture, and a flash to help you step up your selfie game. The front cameras offer face unlock support, too.

Around back there’s a 13MP camera with Sony IMX278 sensor and a fingerprint reader below it.

The body of the Android 7.0-powered Pure View includes a real metal housing with an electrolyzed metal finish. Inside of that body is a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor that’s paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There’s a 3000mAh battery in there, too, along with quick charging support.

BLU’s Pure View looks like an interesting option for anyone that’s in the market for an affordable device. The design is nice, offering a large 18:9 display with slim bezels, and the specs aren’t shabby for the price. The fact that it runs Android 7.0 rather than 8.0 is a bummer, but if you’re able to look past that, the Pure View could be a worth considering.
