Turns out that LG might not be the only company planning on launching a brand new smartwatch later this year.
According to Evan Blass, who took to Twitter to post what he’s been hearing from a reliable source, Google will unveil a new Pixel smartwatch alongside the Pixel 3, the Pixel 3 XL, and a second-generation version of its wireless Pixel Buds headphones.
Besides the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and second-gen Pixel Buds, a reliable source tells me — with high confidence — that Google’s fall hardware event will also introduce a Pixel-branded watch. Have a great summer!

Unfortunately, that’s about all we can go on at this point. Let’s not forget that this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of plans like this. Back in 2016 there were rumors swirling around that Google was planning on launching its own smartwatch, but as we know now, that didn’t pan out.
Keep that salt shaker handy for now.
