Samsung launches Burgundy Red Galaxy S9 in China

In November of last year, Samsung officially launched a Burgundy Red Galaxy S8, but only in South Korea. And now the Galaxy S9 is getting similar treatment, albeit in a different market.

Samsung has launched a Burgundy Red Galaxy S9 in China. The back of the phone has that deep red that Samsung has become famous for, with the color rounding out the metal frame as well. The fingerprint reader on the back is the same hue, too, making sure that it feels uniform across the device. The minimized bezels up front are still black.

The Burgundy Red option joins the ranks with the Lilac Purple, Midnight Black, and Coral Blue variants. Unfortunately there is no word on whether or not Samsung plans on launching the Burgundy Red Galaxy S9 outside of China, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for more markets being unveiled soon.

What do you think of the Burgundy Red option? Would you pick one up if you could?
