Earlier this month, Oppo unveiled the Find X, a smartphone with drastically reduced bezels that facilitated the need to have a motorized camera apparatus for its cameras.
The Find X has a unique design which helped propel it into the limelight. Oppo also announced that the Find X would also be the smartphone manufacturer’s first handset sold in North America, which led to plenty of speculation regarding a potential launch in the United States.
However, it turns out that won’t be the case after all. Sascha Segan, PCMag’s Lead Analyst, recently took to Twitter to break the bad news that the Oppo Find X won’t be arriving in the United States after all.
Hate the break it to you folks but @OPPO tells me the Find X is NOT coming to the US. It’s a super-cool, innovative product, but they aren’t ready to deal with our market yet. Yes on Europe though.

Oppo not being ready to “deal with our market yet” isn’t too surprising by itself, but it is still disappointing to hear that the U.S. market won’t be able to play host to the unique Find X. That means folks in Mexico and/or Canada should start preparing for the Find X’s arrival.
