Marshall announces Alexa and Google Assistant-enabled speakers coming later this year

Marshall has announced a set of new retro-styled speakers and they feature Amazon Alexa. The larger Stanmore II Voice and smaller Action II Voice both feature Amazon’s voice assistant on top of Marshall’s established speaker models.

But that’s not the big news, as many of us are Google fans over Amazon’s own assistant. Marshall announced that Google Assistant¬†hasn’t been forgotten¬†and that Assistant-enabled speakers will be announced later this year.

The Stanmore II Voice will go for $399 and will launch on October 2, while pre-orders have already started. The Action II Voice will launch on November 9 for $299 and pre-orders start on October 2. Currently only the US is confirmed as a launch country. The speakers are pricey, but they should be even better when the Google Assistant variants launch.
