Google’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are two of the leakiest smartphones in modern history. A flood of leaks has focused on the smartphones, but we’ve also heard about the accompanying wireless charger, dubbed the Pixel Stand. Now, the Pixel Stand is once again on display in a leaked press render obtained by MySmartPrice. Unsurprisingly, it’s quite similar to previous leaks of the Pixel Stand.
The charging dock keeps the phone in an upright position, making it easier to use. Additionally, Google is said to be creating a specific UI for easier use while charging on the dock. This UI will feature shortcuts to popular services, access to the Google Assistant, and larger buttons, along the same lines as the Android Auto UI.
The bottom of the Pixel Stand is bright orange and proudly features the Google logo. The USB Type-C connect is tucked away in a small cavity, allowing the pad to lie flat. Not only will the Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL support wireless charging, but they are also reported to feature fast wireless charging, which is a big upgrade from previous iterations.
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are slated for an official announcement on October 9. Before we reach that date, what are your thoughts on Google’s latest flagship devices? Are you a fan?
