Samsung may launch a silver Galaxy Note 9

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 9 earlier this year with four distinct colors, but it looks like the company may be planning a more standard option to join the ranks at some point in the future.

Thanks to the folks over at MySmartPrice, we have a render of the Galaxy Note 9 in silver. The handset will come with a color-matching S Pen as well. If the color scheme looks familiar, it’s probably because it looks similar to the Arctic Silver variant of the Galaxy S8. As far as a release date goes, the report doesn’t have anything concrete to offer, but it does say that the handset will be available in the United States.

Samsung introducing another color option for one of its smartphones after its initial launch is par for the course for the smartphone manufacturer. Silver might not be as eye-catching as purple or blue, though, so it will be interesting to see if this variant will spur sales when it does go on sale.

Would you pick up a silver Galaxy Note 9 if it launched in your region?
