OnePlus 6T said to have gotten Verizon certification

Remember that recent rumor that claimed that the OnePlus 6T might work on Verizon? Well, it sounds like it’s happening.

The OnePlus 6T has gotten Verizon certification, according to a new report from PCMag. This means that if you bring a OnePlus 6T onto Verizon, it should work without issue. While this doesn’t mean that Verizon will sell the OnePlus 6T itself, this is still big news because it means that the OP6T will be the first OnePlus phone to work on Verizon.

Getting certification for the OnePlus 6T on Verizon is big for OnePlus because it means that a new, large base of customers can get its phone. Most folks do still buy their phones from their carrier, but there are likely a lot of people on Verizon that’ve been interested in OnePlus but didn’t want to switch carriers to try a OnePlus phone. With the OnePlus 6T, they may not have to.

Will you buy a OnePlus 6T if its certified for use on Verizon?
