The Razer Phone 2 is set to be announced in just a few hours, but as is usually the case with major new smartphones, the details of it have leaked out ahead of time.
A Razer Phone 2 product page briefly appeared on Amazon Italy earlier today, as reported by GSMArena, and it spilled some images and specs of the new Android flagship. As you can see above, the Razer Phone 2′s design is pretty similar to the original model, but the dual rear camera setup has been tweaked a bit.
Just like the design, the specs of the Razer Phone 2 are pretty similar to the Razer Phone. There’s dual 12MP rear cameras, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There are a few small but welcome changes to the Razer Phone 2 to help it stand out from its predecessor, though.
Those new features include a Snapdragon 845 processor, up from the Snapdragon 835 chipset in the first Razer Phone. Also said to be included is wireless charging, an IP67 water resistance rating, and a Chroma RGB Razer logo on the back.
The Amazon Italy product page lists the Razer Phone 2 at a price of €870 ($1002 USD), but that seems a bit high considering that the first Razer Phone is €750/$700, so don’t be surprised if the actual price of the Razer Phone 2 is a bit lower when it’s made official.
