Pixel 3 buzzing speakers bug will be fixed with impending update, says Google

Is your Pixel 3  or Pixel 3 XL emitting a buzzing sound when it plays audio? We first heard about this bug last month, and today Google has confirmed that it’s got a fix coming.

Google says that it will release a software update in the coming weeks to address a Pixel 3 bug that causes buzzing at lower volumes. There aren’t any other details about the update or its release date, but at least we now know that a fix is coming.

This buzzing issue sounds annoying, as it’s affecting owners during some notification sounds as well as when songs and videos are played at low volumes. While it’s not affecting everyone, this is an issue, especially considering the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are expensive flagship smartphones. Here’s to hoping that Google is able to get a fix out sooner rather than later.

Is your Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL suffering from this buzzing issue?
