When it comes to triggering a virtual assistant, Google’s hotword has to be the worst. Instead of the easy to say “Alexa” or “Hey Siri,” you have to say the awkward phrase of “OK Google.” While not a big deal, it’s not the most pleasant of hotwords.
“OK Google” hotword detection is a staple of many people’s driving routine. Not having to touch your phone to perform actions is a great way to use your phone (in a strictly responsible fashion, preferably) in a safer way.
