Android UI customizations by degree of divergence

I’m wondering what you guys think are the *least* modified Android experiences by manufacturer?

On the one had are the various Nexus devices – stock as they get. Cyanogenmod is basically just that with bare modifications.

At the other end is the Amazon batch of products, which are basically unrecognizable. Somewhere under that is Samsung, with their Touchwiz – still recognizably Android, but quite heavily skinned with visual UI tweaks and customary apps.

Where does everyone else sit, in your experience? Acer, Asus, LG, Sony? More or less?

Note that this isn’t really a discussion of what’s BETTER, I’m just curious as to how DIFFERENT each manufacturer has made theirs. I had an Asus tablet and currently have an Acer tab; they seem to be almost stock, going by reviewer comments. I’ve been really looking at the LG end, which people seem to readily point out the differences in stock UI, but I’m not really seeing much divergence… You guys?

I just got the Sony Z1 and it’s much less intrusive Sony stuff than Samsung, but more than Moto X; probably about the same as the HTC One
