Do you wear a case?

I have tried to go the case route, but to be honest, some Android phones weren’t meant to be covered. I had a Droid incredible for a while but I couldn’t bear seeing it covered up by an ugly case. The same goes for my Sensation 4G and Galaxy S2. I would rather risk the scratches than carry around an unremarkable brick. How about you guys? Do you show off what you’ve got or cover it up with a case?

    I use a case because I don’t want scratches.

    I’m currently going naked.

Great choice. What do you have?

Galaxy Note, I have several cases for it, but I prefer it without one. I guess I can’t say it’s completely naked though, I’ve had a screen protector on it since day one.

    Yep, I do.

I use a case on my Galaxy Nexus. I got a otterbox commuter because I wanted something I could easily get in and out of my pocket. I’m debating whether or not I should get a defender so it so I could use the clip as a stand. The thing is that getting it in and out of the pockets will probably be difficult.

I use cases because it gives me the freedom to simply put my phone down on any surface and not have to worry about scratching the phone. I don’t do screen protectors though.

I had that feeling for a while (wanting to be able to toss my phone down) but with my Galaxy S2, I have been doing that since I have owned it and it doesn’t have a scratch on it. Even if it does get scratched, I feel like I would only care if I wanted to sell it. eBay has replacement backs for below $9 shipped so I’d rather eat the $9 when I sell it then have to fight to get it out of my pocket or carry around a brick.

I went with a clear Cruzer Lite Androidified TPU Soft Gel Skin. Only real choice for me was whether to go clear or smoke. You can still see the back plate design, but i also get the Verizon logo covered over :)

I think it looks good on the phone, doesn’t effect the thickness all that much, but feels much grippier in your hand or on cloth car seats. On Leather, well it becomes a rocket :)

I had an Otterbox defender case for my iTouch not bad but it was next to impossible to use it with any of the docks I had. Just something to think about. I ended up getting an Agent18 case after a few months…
