with all manufacturers going with 5″ displays.
what do you think is a comfortable size for daily use and portability.
personally i like the 4.3 inch to be big enough for use as a mobile,
since i use a nexus 7 in home .

what is big enough for you if use a tablet or you want a even bigger screen phablet as your all in one device ..??

A coworker uses his Galaxy Tab as a phone. Seems to work well for him though. He always has his bluetooth headset.

I used to think 4.3-inches was too big, and thought 4 was my sweet spot. With how bezels have shrunk though, I think a 720p 4.3-inch display would be amazing. Especially Super AMOLED Plus.

The largest size they can fit in current sized devices like the s3. They shrink the bezel and I could easily see them being able to fit a 5″ screen without being much if any larger than the s3 currently is.

I agree with you. I think that the best would a 5″ screen that was fitted into the size of the Galaxy S3. I mean it would only be .2″ more and I think that would be the sweet spot. My friend has a Galaxy S3 and if feels really nice in the hands and I bet Samsung could easily make a 5″ in that size. I haven’t checked out a Note 2 but so far I feel a 5″ screen would be ideal.

Agree totally. The Samsung S3 is “big” enough for app viewing and “small” enough to stuff in the pant pocket. It’s just right.

I think 5″ would be best if it could be in a bezel that was the size of a Galaxy S 3. With the size of current batteries I’d rather have a 720p screen to save some juice but I’d rather have a 1080p screen with better battery life.

I’ve got the HTC One X+ which i believe is 4.7″, i had a desire before this and was put off by the Desire HD’s size.

Nowadays though, i could probably handle something bigger. I’ve got quite big hands (and pockets, i’m 6′ 6″!) and 4.7 fits comfortably, sometimes i find my thumb has to stretch depending on how i hold it.

For my tablet i have an iPad 3 which is 10 inch. I am happy with the size though i think a 7/8 inch would be better for holding in one hand – i find myself doing general browsing on my daughters Kindle Fire 2 because its so much lighter and easy to hold.

yup exactly 7″ for tablets and 4-4.3 for phones is good enough..
    altho even i use a 4.7 ” phone and its become a popular size optimus g,razr hd,one x,nexus 4 and s3(4.8)

I think 5 would be the best. I’m used to my note 2 but a little bit smaller would make it even better one handed since I already do most on it one handed already.

It took me some time to get comfortable with my Nexus 4. I used to think that the 4″ Nexus S 4G was the sweet spot for screen size but now the phone feels comically small in my hands. I think a device with a 4.3″-4.5″ screen, minimal bezels and with at least 720p resolution would be perfect for me.

I’m conflicted because I want to say 4.3″, however, every time I’ve put a phone smaller than a Note in my front pocket, it inevitably turns sideways and becomes uncomfortable to carry.

That being said, my eyes don’t need a monster screen, but I love the idea of not feeling tempted to also carry a tablet, so I’ll go with 5″ and a small bezel.
