You can finally SIM unlock your new T-Mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One M9, LG G4 and more)

So, I purchased my HTC One M9 from T-Mobile at launch, but was not able to SIM unlock the phone because it comes with T-Mobile’s new Device Unlock app which does not allow you to SIM unlock the phone unless it’s paid in full – even if you purchase a SIM unlock code from a third-part service.

Now, you can use Android SIM Unlock’s T-Mobile Unlock service to unlock the HTC One M9, Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, LG G4, LG G Stylo, Alcatel One Touch POP Astro, Samsung Galaxy Avant and Sony Xperia Z3.

The service does work with the T-Mobile Device Unlock app on the back-end (takes 12-24 hours) and then allows you to use the app to unlock the phone, even if you’re still making payments.
