How To Install Themes in aHome and Open Home

If you want to completely change the look of your Android phone, there are many home replacement applications.  If you have browsed the Market recently you may have come across  one of the 128 aHome themes that are available.  With a recent release, Open Home also supports aHome themes.

Swapping out different themes is easy once you get the hang of it, but some users might need help their first time.  Our friend Yamil from The Rebeldroid has posted a series of videos that will show you how to download, install, and remove custome themes.  Some of the themes cost $0.99, but there are many free ones available.  Try out some of the new themes and let us know what are your favorites.

I recently upgraded my Verizon to vista 880g. I have downloaded Star Trek theme as well as go launcher, as panda doesn’t seem to be available. However the theme will not open or run.

[...] This is my first theme, and it is free; so please be kind in your comments :)* You will need to have PandaHome, AHome or OpenHome already installed on your device to use this theme! *Download, install, then go to your theme software and select this theme and click apply to use.Enjoy! Please remember to add a comment and give a star rating.Thank-you for your download, live long and prosper!P.S. – If you like this theme, check out my other apps by clicking "View more applications" in the Developer Info section below!NOTE:- If you are not familiar with themes, or using theme software, please do not comment saying it doesn't work; it does. It has been tested thoroughly and downloaded over five thousand times so far. It works! If what you mean to say is that YOU cannot get it to work on YOUR device, then email me for assistance or at least describe what device and theme software you attempted to use in the comments section when you leave a rating. Also, just a reminder, I CANNOT contact people directly from a comment as it only displays a first name, so if you require assistance EMAIL me, or better yet, GOOGLE it!!! I Googled it and found these videos in under a minute:-http://androidandme.com/2009/04/beginners/guides/how-to-install-themes-in-ahome-and-open-home/ [...]
