We have been waiting to get our hands on BioWallet ever since it was one of the finalist for the first Android Developers Challenge. The application promised to be one of the first Android applications to offer biometric security measures like iris scanning and signature recognition. The developer just sent word that a new beta is coming next week and you can sign up to get notified over at the official site.

It is a pleasure for us to announce that next Friday (2009-09-25) we will be launching our second beta.

It will test the biometric signature technology, we have fixed some previous bugs and added some important improvements, mainly the possibility to attach files to records and other extra features that are coming very soon.

If you are not part of the beta program yet and you want to join it, please use the form Keep me on the loop! of the home page and check “Beta testers” (If you have already signed up in the mailing list but not in the beta program, you must use the form again checking beta tester option).
