Details are still a little hard to come by but Dell has announced the new Dell Mini 3 and it’s available now in China. PC Online already tracked down a retail unit and has a full set of unboxing photos (available below).
The phone has no price point yet but sounds to have solid distribution channels:
Dell plans to distribute its new Mini 3 smart phones through China Mobile, the largest telecommunications company in the world with more than 500 million customers, and Claro, which serves more than 42 million people in Brazil as part of the America Movil network.
The Dell press release calls this the initial Mini 3, meaning we can expect to see more in the future. Its rumored that this phone could be available in the US in Q1 2010, possibly on AT&T.
