Popular social image host Yfrog has launched a Twitter client for Android. The Yfrog app covers most of the Twitter basics (tweets, mentions, messages, etc) and adds numerous features that take advantage of Android’s hardware (geolocation, photo & video capturing, etc).

The client is pretty solid and packs a better-than-most UI but it’s lacking some of the deeper options found on other, more mature Twitter clients (our favorite is currently Twidroid Pro). There is no multi-account support and the options screen consists of just two check-boxes. Yfrog does include a number of features under a ‘more’ tab, including your own tweets, list of followers and following, and saved searches. Check out the full feature list and a handful of screens below.

Features:

  • Tweet images and video to twitter
  • View tweets
  • View followers and people you’re following
  • View messages and mentions
  • Search Twitter
  • Queue multiple uploads
  • Included GPS location with upload
  • Unlimited uploads
  • Videos up to 15 minutes
  • High quality video encoding
