T-Mobile does the Twist; Sync videos, photos and iTunes playlists to your Android phone

T-Mobile and doubleTwist announced an agreement to preload the doubleTwist software on upcoming T-Mobile Android phones. The software (available for PC and Mac) provides users the ability to sync and manage their personal media with any Android phone. Existing T-Mobile customers with Android phones can grab the software from T-Mobile’s site or anyone is free to grab a copy from the official doubleTwist site.

DoubleTwist supports all the latest Android phones (like the Nexus One and Droid) and they constantly update their software to support more devices and add new features. Support for the Amazon MP3 store and iTunes syncing were two popular features that were added last year.

We are pleased to see the partnership because we have been users of doubleTwist since July. I still use it to easily convert videos to a mobile format and I prefer it over all the other desktop sync software I have tried. The software is free to use, so give it a try and share your feedback.
