We just revealed the Motorola Devour specs and now Android Central has received some pics of Verizon promotional material. It was first speculated that this Devour box was the retail packaging, but several comments have explained this is an oversized demo box that Verizon uses to promote the phone. If the retails stores are already receiving promotional material, then a launch can’t be far behind.
No price point has been announced, but with its Qualcomm MSM7627 processor and 3 megapixel camera, we expect this to be an entry level Android phone. The Devour should be available in black and silver. We have also unofficially confirmed this device should run Android 1.6 with Motoblur, but it should be updated to Android 2.1 in Q2 2010.
Look for Motorola to unveil the Devour during their Super Bowl ad (2/7) or possibly during Mobile World Congress (2/15).
