There’s no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S is one of the most exciting Android phones expected to launch this summer. We recently had the chance to play around with 1GHz powered Android 2.1 handset at Google I/O a few weeks back and can confidently say that it will hold its own with the HTC Desire or even the EVO 4G.
Today we have learned that Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy S, simultaneously releasing it in 110 different countries. We have seen Android handsets from other OEMs launch across Europe and Asia over the course of a few weeks, but to our knowledge the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S in 110 countries will be the largest global handset launch in history. There are rumors that the Galaxy S could be heading to T-Mobile USA or could show up on AT&T as the SGH-i897.
The exact launch date for the Samsung galaxy s is still unknown, but many are speculating that it will hit store shelves before the end of June.
