SCVNGR adds Buffalo Wild Wings to its rewards program

SCVNGR, the location-based check-in game that challenges you to go places, do challenges, and earn points which can be used to obtain real-life rewards, announced today a partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings that will bring awesome discounts to the national restaurant chain. SCVNGR users will be able to do challenges at all Buffalo Wild Wings such as snap pictures, perform a social check-in, or write a blurb for other users to see, and earn points that grant discounts such as $5 off a $25 purchase, 6 free boneless wings, a free coke-product, or even the chance to meet legendary basketball player Scottie Pippen.

Buffalo Wild Wings is probably one of my favorite hangouts, so needless to say I’m pretty psyched about this deal. Regardless of whether or not you like Buffalo Wild Wings, it’s great to see more and more companies sign on with check-in services such as SCVNGR or Foursquare to offer discounts to individuals that use these services.

More information on SCVNGR’s partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings can be found here.

      Dear Taylor,
Thank you for being corrupt. We all clearly know that your website gets paid by the app developers to write these articles about their apps.

Please stop writing about apps that you were paid by the developer to write about.

It’s not that big of a seal, besides Scvngr isn’t that bad, in fact it would be better than foursquare if people actually used it, sadly that’s not the case.

Why would he stop writing about apps he’s paid to write about? I guess common sense isn’t so common around here…
