HTC Holiday bringing 4G LTE to AT&T by Christmas

We’ve seen the HTC Holiday in the wild already, but it’s nice to see a second device get caught on camera. This time around the phone is a little less broken and looks a little different, since it does not feature the three connection pins on the two-toned back panel as we saw last time. Specs on the HTC Holiday include a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 and 1.3 megapixel rear and front cameras, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 all running on Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.0.

The HTC Holiday is also expected to be one of the first 4G phones on AT&T with support for HSPA+ and LTE. It seems like HTC is making a habit of being the first manufacturer to roll out phones with 4G support on every network, regardless of the 4G technology they are using.

If you thought the HTC Holiday was an odd name for a phone, you probably won’t be pleased to hear that it could launch at the HTC Waikiki. The HTC Holiday’s main competition will be the Samsung Galaxy S II. We know a lot of you are leaning towards Samsung’s new flagship phone due to its unrivaled performance, but are any of you tempted to pick up the HTC Holiday with its larger higher resolution display?
