Originally leaked in late July as one of LG’s 2011 flagship devices, the LG Prada K2 has been caught on film showing a design identical to a render floating around with the same name attached.
While the video doesn’t give away any information, it’s nice to see the device maintain the slick, minimal form-factor early leaks pointed towards. As far as rumored specs go, the Prada K2 is slated to hit shelves this holiday season with Android 2.3, a dual-core processor, an 8MP camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16Gb of internal storage, 21Mbps HSPA+ and a 4.3-inch NOVA display boasting 1,000 nits of brightness. After all that is packed inside, the Prada K2 will still remain a slender 8.8 millimeters thick.
With an entire of fleet of dual-core Android devices launching in the coming months, the Prada K2 will have to rely on overall thinness and LG’s NOVA display to try and stand out from the pack. Up against the Droid Bionic, Galaxy S II and Nexus 3, does LG really have a shot at taking the Prada to the top?
