Verizon Galaxy Nexus available for pre-order tomorrow, release December 8?

Samsung-Galaxy-Nexus

This is it people, the final stretch. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is almost ready for release on Verizon, marking its official debut appearance in the US. If some “credible reports” and a phone call from Verizon are correct, then the Galaxy Nexus will go on pre-sale tomorrow, with a release date of December 8.

According to Computer World, the stars have finally aligned to reveal the pre-order date for the Verizon version of the Galaxy Nexus. They say the date will be tomorrow, November 29. Computer World is saying the date has been confirmed by multiple Verizon employees, as well as Mike “micdawg” Peak, who shared his experience with Verizon customer service.

Last week I sent an email to Verizon letting them know how disgusted I was with the way they have handled the launch of the galaxy nexus. After multiple emails back and forth...I got a text message saying 'this is (name redacted) from Verizon wireless I will be calling in a couple minutes from a 678 area code number.'

When she called me I explained to her my issues. ... She then said 'Well Mr. Peak, I can assure you, it won't be long. Preorders are set to start Tuesday (November 29). And the phone will be released December 8.' She also then said she was going to get ahold of my local store to make sure they called me as soon as they got one in, and held one for me to ensure I got one in the first Wave. Which I thought sounded like ********. But low and behold, Saturday night around 6pm I got a call from the Verizon store 1 town over (she apparently didn't Google the closest..) and they have my name down and are saving me a Nexus, and will hold it for 2 days past release for me.Mike micdawg PeakComputer World

Alas, this is still no official statement from Verizon. But that doesn’t mean you can’t pre-order a Nexus tomorrow. Verizon has launched silent pre-orders before. And we’re still trying to reach out to Verizon for a confirmation or denial. Either way, it can’t hurt to give your local Verizon store a call and see what they say. If we receive any updates on the situation, we’ll be sure to update you.

Between your name and your nonsense comment about homo phone, just what ARE you smoking? Can a phone be heterosexual? What are YOU planning to do with your phone? Probably just keep it on vibrate, I guess………

      • http://lawrencesamantha.com olentz

Modern human are homo sapiens. Homo from humanus, means human being. So homo phone means human phone! That’s a compliment! :D

        • http://about.me/seanprunka sprunka

No, the “homo” in “homo sapiens,” “homosexual,” & “homogenous” are all from Latin and is roughly translated as “same.”

So a “homo phone” is a same sound. Although, in general, people spell “homophone” as one word. A homophone is, of course, a word that sounds the same as another word but has a different meaning. Like “dessert” and “desert” (as a verb, since “desert” as a noun is pronounced differently.)

          • Jaz

Bahaha I like the way you think

ah, ic. lol, i’m off by a mile then. thanks for the explanation.

anyway, in the end his “homo phone” remarks don’t make any sense on this context right?

That is the dumbest explanation of homo sapien I have ever seen.

Sorry for ruining your day man, I was just trying to lighten things up based on what I *thought* I know. Clearly, as you point out and sprunka explained above, my explanation was totally off. In the end, galaxy nexus is not a “homo phone”. Whatever that means.

I bought a Razr in the mean time since they extended returns, my OG is tired. The Razr is awesome, truly (minus the screen quality and defects in low light grays, camera quality, fear of cracking it in half), but I can’t WAIT to return it for this baby.

What the hell are you saying Ben that’s a stupid comment .Returning a phone does crap to raise prices .
Prices will go up regardless its call Greed.

        • debits and credits

I also bought the razr with the intent in returning it. Love the phone except the screen is neon green when the brightness is turned down and it gets HOT!

          Bring on the nexus!

        • ihatefanboys

he’s bonkers on the price raising, but he does have a point about buying a phone with the intention of returning it. Why not just keep your original phone and be ……well…….patient ?

I’ve had the same phone for a year….its the G2 so its not worth it for me to upgrade just yet, but im perfectly content to wait another year to get a new phone… why cant this guy wait an extra week to get his nexus ?

          It is kinda silly.

          • http://whysoangrybirds.com mikeyDroid

Because I have an OG droid – for over 2 years, not a G2 for around a year – big difference when you waited for numerous phones to be released that all flopped.

        • http://www.lifequill.com Canterrain

A little bit yes, a little bit no.

When you buy a phone with the intention of returning it, it does have effects and consequences. Think about it. Do you really think the phone goes back in the bin, the ESN cleared, then just immediately sold to the next guy who doesn’t care that the box is already opened, the phone already used?

No. The phone has to be treated as completely defective, whether it is or not. This means returning to the manufacturer (shipping costs), who then must inspect the phone itself, and decide what to do with it (labor costs). Loss of profit all around is hard on the individual stores, and ultimately all the companies involved.

And before anyone says well the carriers and manufacturer’s make enough money, remember 1: there’s no such thing as making enough money, especially in this economy, and 2: that still doesn’t cover the individual store which incurs the loss, which ultimately does effect the employees working there.

Is it an immediate effect of raise all prices? No. But do you really think that the prices aren’t set with these kinds of loss in mind? Remember, all choices have consequences. Nothing is free. Even returning a phone. And if it’s going to cost anyone, it’s going to cost the consumers in the long run. Don’t add to if you can avoid doing so.

          • eallan

DId you forget about the restocking fee? If it’s not enough, that’s verizon’s fault.

          • http://www.lifequill.com Canterrain

Most companies don’t charge a restocking fee. And restocking fees we’re started just because of such shenanigans. Again, trying to abuse the system makes it worse for others, that’s why it should be avoided.

      • http://whysoangrybirds.com mikeyDroid

Yea that’s definitely not how it works.. Ben it’s simple – I’ve been holding out with an OG Droid for over 2 years, well passed my contract waiting around for carriers (or OEMS) to get their acts together, I patiently waited for a SGS2 on verizon to get chumped, the Bionic for MONTHS to get chumped.. – They play us, I’ll play them back..

        as I was saying… NEXUS ME! :D

        • Dylan

I’ve been in the same situation with getting screwed over by Verizon waiting for phones. Have OG droid as well and its on its last leg been waiting for the Nexus since bionic got delayed for so long. I just wish Google could run the whole release date because the phone would be out by now and the whole android community would be happy. Sooner for an end to the exclusive and a final look and touch of the finished product that we’ve all been waiting for since the 1st set of specs and announcement of ICS

    • ihatefanboys

The OG Droid cant be THAT bad that a couple of weeks was going to kill you, lol…but if I still had my G1 , i’d be hurting too, but knowing that the phone I was waiting for was right around the corner I’d mark it on my calender and count the days.

  • AsakuraZero

it was about time gosh, still i dont have CDMA networks over here but looks like the 8th will be a day full of ice cream.

the the galaxy nexus and the TF prime on the same day? too good too good to be true

  • Slith

A friend who owns an independent Verizon store says to be ready tomorrow the 29th!

  • Anthony44

Well now that Verizon has held this phone ransom and sucked all the exciting out if it. I take a famous line from the rock
Verizon take your pre order and shine it, shine it again. Turn it sideways and stick it up your candy ass!
The air has been let out waiting for GSM at a real price hey my nexus s still works just fine.

  • erikiksaz

This needs to released asap so that the Verizon exlusivity can end. The rest of us on T-Mobile, att, and sprint need our nexi!

    • Anthony44

I agree but since nexus comes out every year. I will only but it January middle of month latest. I see little sense buying it march or April only to shelf it by December
      just saying

      • erikiksaz

crap you are right, totally forgot. Hopefully these exclusivity deals stop considering they have cdma and GSM versions out concurrently.

  • thekaz

I am still excited.. I can finally compare the nexus, razr and rezound hands-on and upgrade…

  • ndub21

This has been the most absurd phone release I have seen. Get the phone out already!

I don’t care about the Verizon version, I just want the AT&T version to be released! And I am definitely hoping that it doesn’t cost $750. I’m wishing more for a $500-$550 price range. I know that’s wishful thinking.

    • CJ LaFleur

I’m with ya there! Att has no good phones except the gs2! Why does vzw get all the good phones? I hope att sells it on contract for $2-300. Id love that!

    • Dan D

A friend that works at an independent Verizon store told me 299 on contract and 650 off. I’m a bit pissed that black Friday ad isn’t going to go into effect for 199. Now I’m not sure I’ll get this on launch with Christmas sucking up my income this month.

  • http://attackofthetech.com Wayne

I hope this is true. I may call my Verizon store after work to see what they have to say.

  • Nathan

Well about dam time now maybe the other carrier can support the phone after a month of Verizon having this phone, one can dream right?

  • Futureboy

Wake me when we get to the countdown-to-the-off-contract-price-drop from the (rumored) $800.

  • Shadowlore

Personally, wanting to see how it fares up in the hand vs the Razr and Rezound. Suspect the GNex will blow them away, but it’s always good to compare.

Will be interesting if it’s priced at $300 or $200 (as the more recent rumours have been indicating) That’s a good breakpoint for the average user, and power user as well.

(Also, consider for those that jumped on the Living Social deal this weekend, and are due for an upgrade.. that’ll bring the price down to $100 (plus the $25 you paid to Living Social for the $50 coupon)

  • BiGMERF

peep this nexus commercial..i love it, nice job google http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=DAlO9Mt7-XA

why did u guys downvote this? O_o also, merf. its a pretty cool commercial

      • Anthony44

Commercial was pretty cool .I guess the downgrade was perhaps it was just funny and didn’t show anything really. We all here know about this phone but the average joe or Jane watching that commercial see a bunch of asses with a big frickin phone doing nothing (sorry for that)

      • BiGMERF

i get down voted for anything.. its ok :)

    • killabee44

      Yeah, nice commercial.

  • ihatefanboys

If I were waiting for this phone id say “wake me when its ACTUALLY available” I’d be going nuts with all this unconfirmed “confirmed” nonsense already.

  • AndyE

Come on Tmo! I’m ready to put my N1 to pasture…

  • NamelessTed

So what is the best plan of attack here? My brother is due for the 2-year upgrade deal so we have been eyeing the Galaxy Nexus as the phone for him to get. The problem is that he is definitely going to want to use the phone to see how it feels before he goes all in and buys it.

Is the best option to just preorder if if he can? I guess the only thing I would be worried about is that it sell out and he can’t get one for another week or so. The only other phone that he would be highly interested in is the Droid 4 because it has the physical keyboard, which is something he would definitely prefer, but not if it means the rest of the phone isn’t as good.

  • nmoline

It’s a little too pricey with all the competitively priced phones on sale right now. I’d love a Nexus for my next phone regardless.

  • Dev-CreativeReach

    Cant wait for gsm version!

  • tpulu

With all the uncertainty of when this phone will actually come out, I went ahead and gave in to the urge and bought a Rezound from Amazon for a penny. I don’t think I’ll have buyer’s remorse…Can’t have remorse for spending a penny, right? I’m thinking I’ll have enough patience to wait for the next Nexus. But then again… whats the return policy for AmazonWireless…. lol No… I need to be strong and stick to my decision lol

  • http://youtube.com/user/jawckamoe Marcus Nolasco

So what will the price be? Is it $299 or $199?

  • Austin M

I just called the Verizon store near where I live to try and confirm this, and they just told me that the Galaxy Nexus WAS supposed to go on preorder tomorrow, but they had word to hold it back until further notice. He didn’t know why they held it back, and he told me that they really don’t get word until about 3 days before preorder time.

So looks like another day where my hopes are raised and crushed…I need to stop doing this to myself. =(

    • Anthony44

Ya know if that’s the case and more delays. Please announce the Samsung Note coming to T-Mobile and I’m nexus done

  • spintrex

Verizon I hope this delay wasn’t due to the excessive amount of bloatware tainting this fine galaxy nexus.

  • Cazador404

I just called the Verizon store near where I live to try and confirm this, and they just told me that the Galaxy Nexus WAS supposed to go on preorder tomorrow, but they had word to hold it back until further notice. He didn’t know why they held it back, just that they typically don’t know when a phone will be ready for preorder until about 3 days before the preorder date.

  • Salty

“this is still no official statement from Verizon”
That apparently didn’t stop you from reporting it if it was!

  • Griffin

    hey all,

    question:
if i want to pre-order this phone do i have to sign up for the contract with verizon tomorow?
because currently im almost at the end of mine with AT&T but want to keep the phone i have in operation until the nexus comes out.

  • mimogear

I’d rather be a little patient and wait for a supply to build up. Although getting it on the 8th would make my whole ENTIRE YEARR!!!

  • kkloster

this is crazy but, i just called the verizon store closest to me and the guy not only said that they hadn’t heard anything about pre-orders for the galaxy nexus but also that his understanding was that it wasn’t even coming out this year. There is no way that can be right… but it makes me worry still.

  • Nathan

oo were oo were is the official release date oo were oo were it could be?

    • Anthony44

Said it once will say it again. Verizon is holding the nexus hostage. The exclusive is theirs and they simply refuse to release this phone.
Verizon has two phones out now rezound and razr.
Verizon is simply maximizing sales why put the nexus out when they don’t have to.
      they got us

      • Matt

Don’t forget that Google owns/will own Motorola Mobility…perhaps getting a few more Razr sales isn’t so bad for them?

        :-)

  • RAWLogic

I check this site daily praying for news of the Galaxy Nexus for AT&T, but alas…… I can’t imagine how many users the Nexus has lost to Black Friday deals. I almost bought a GSII for $1, but decided I already had too much invested in this phone to give up now. Better not disappoint.. Very jealous of you Verizon people.

What a ridiculous release this phone has had. Just give us the damn phone already Verizon…

    • jbot

Amen. I already have a bad image of Verizon before even trying them based on their handling of this.

  • Kaote

Nice that there is finally a pre-order, hope to see this on other carriers sooner than later.

    • piratefinn

Most likely that t-mobile (and orange) as well as 02, however I believe 3 may not since they tend to focus on Apple and Blackberry being odd. I am not worried however of the bugs in the phones, since these will probably be built with the bugs fixed, or just the same way as the (apparently) faultless american ones. I personally am waiting for the HTC Zeta or S III from the leaks previously released on the site :D.

  • YMS123

Judging by the Bionic, releasing phones on time isn’t one if Verizon’s strong points…

  • Alex Pena

    It’s a really nice phone.

  • GeauxLSU

Don’t see it on the Verizon website yet. Is this an in store pre-order only?

  • Cindy

My local Verizon store said they aren’t “allowed” to take pre-orders yet. He doesn’t know about tomorrow though. Not sure what that means.

  • Cole Loomis

They really need to stop yanking our chains.

I went by my local Verizon store, and no one was willing or no one was able to provide me with any information.

They really have messed up this release.

  • NegativeOne13

    And ready for the downrates…….

Spoke with Verizon both instore and phone…. no go on preorder today. I even told them that they were killing us a slow death.

  • tpulu

The way things are going, by the time you get your hands on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, the Next Nexus will be announced, or announced within a few short months, and you’ll be regretting waiting for the Galaxy Nexus in the first place. I tried to wait for it, but I eventually came to the realization that :1) a Rezound for a Penny was too good to pass up and 2) No matter what phone you settle for, there’s always something better coming out in a few months. So why stress about what Verizon is doing, as wrong as it seems to be. Just take whats available now, if it doesn’t satisfy you, return it, or root it and make it what you want.

  • mshramek

I’m just waiting for this phone to come out because i know my ICS update will be coming right after on my Nexus.

  • fredhanselmann

My Incredible has served me well the last two years. Rezound or Razr or Galaxy Nexus. That’s the dilemma at the moment. Purchase won’t be made until the end of December or first part of January, but I’m leaning toward the Rezound. Don’t like the fact the Nexus doesn’t have expandable memory via microsd. Not sure I like the feel of the Razr in hand.

  • Jeff

I just chatted online with a Verizon rep who told me it would be out (as in hand) on the 3rd, but said there was no pre-order period that she/he knew of.

You: I heard the galaxy nexus goes on pre-order today is that true>

xxxxx: No. We have no day set for the preorder for the Nexus.

You: Oh ok thanks. I guess its all rumors at this point.

xxxxx: My understanding is that the Nexus is due out December 3. But that could change.

xxxxx: But it shouldn’t be to much longer. Any other phone you might like to look at?

You: out as is in hand or preorder?

    You: on the 3rd?

    xxxx: Out.

xxxxx: That’s what I have been told.

    • NegativeOne13

She probably misread the 8th for the 3rd. Sides…. all this rumor crap is getting irritable. It will be out when it’s out.

    • Musicsessions

The 8th seems more likely since Verizon is known for Thursday releases. Though, I would LOVE to get this phone in my hands by this Saturday!

  • HilDroid

I got tired of waiting for this phone!! F em, I love my droid razor. It will get android 4.0 too.

  • snowbdr89

I want dick up my ass

  • smooney3

I was at a Verizon store yesterday and asked about it. The manager said he hadn’t heard anything at all about it. Plus, looking directly at my Razr, he said, “Your Rezound has all the same features and more, anyway.” So, yeah, don’t even bother asking at the store, I guess.

    • ihatefanboys

I concur. It seems that the least knowledgeable people work in these stores that sell smartphones. I always say I should work in a store that sell em because I AM knowledgeable about them and would never mistake a Razr for a Rezound, or even imply that either is to the level of a Nexus.

  • mclarensr

This is the only thing I dislike about Android and Google (compared to Apple). They announce something and we just wait a long (sometimes long long) time till the official release date. I am a Nexus One user and have noticed since the release of the phone.

Oh well, at that end of it all it is still worth waiting for.

  • MC

I went to my local Verizon store and they had the Galaxy Nexus in their system for $199 with a 2 year contract. They couldn’t verify the 8th, but claimed they could pre-order for me now and they anticipated an initial delivery prior to the 8th.

Since no other inquiries had been made at this particular store (Yipee!), they are going to call me as soon as the truck shows up and didn’t see much reason for a pre-order.

    MC

  • donger

it still feels like it’s taking forever, december 8th needs to come.

The release date moved up to Dec. 6th for me!

I’ve had the same phone for a year….its the G2 so its not worth it for me to upgrade just yet, but im perfectly content to wait another year to get a new phone… why cant this guy wait an extra week to get his nexus ?

          It is kinda silly.

          • Because I have an OG droid – for over 2 years, not a G2 for around a year – big difference when you waited for numerous phones to be released that all flopped.

        • A little bit yes, a little bit no.

          • DId you forget about the restocking fee? If it’s not enough, that’s verizon’s fault.

          • Most companies don’t charge a restocking fee. And restocking fees we’re started just because of such shenanigans. Again, trying to abuse the system makes it worse for others, that’s why it should be avoided.

      • Yea that’s definitely not how it works..

        • I’ve been in the same situation with getting screwed over by Verizon waiting for phones.

    • The OG Droid cant be THAT bad that a couple of weeks was going to kill you, lol…but if I still had my G1 , i’d be hurting too, but knowing that the phone I was waiting for was right around the corner I’d mark it on my calender and count the days.

  5. it was about time gosh, still i dont have CDMA networks over here but looks like the 8th will be a day full of ice cream.

the the galaxy nexus and the TF prime on the same day? too good too good to be true

  6. A friend who owns an independent Verizon store says to be ready tomorrow the 29th!

  8. This needs to released asap so that the Verizon exlusivity can end. The rest of us on T-Mobile, att, and sprint need our nexi!

    • I agree but since nexus comes out every year. I will only but it January middle of month latest. I see little sense buying it march or April only to shelf it by December
      just saying

  9. I am still excited.. I can finally compare the nexus, razr and rezound hands-on and upgrade…

    • I’m with ya there! Att has no good phones except the gs2! Why does vzw get all the good phones? I hope att sells it on contract for $2-300. Id love that!

    • Dan DGuest 3 years ago

A friend that works at an independent Verizon store told me 299 on contract and 650 off. I’m a bit pissed that black Friday ad isn’t going to go into effect for 199. Now I’m not sure I’ll get this on launch with Christmas sucking up my income this month.

  11. I hope this is true. I may call my Verizon store after work to see what they have to say.

  12. Well about dam time now maybe the other carrier can support the phone after a month of Verizon having this phone, one can dream right?

  13. Wake me when we get to the countdown-to-the-off-contract-price-drop from the (rumored) $800.

  15. If I were waiting for this phone id say “wake me when its ACTUALLY available” I’d be going nuts with all this unconfirmed “confirmed” nonsense already.

  16. Come on Tmo! I’m ready to put my N1 to pasture…

  18. It’s a little too pricey with all the competitively priced phones on sale right now. I’d love a Nexus for my next phone regardless.

  19. Cant wait for gsm version!

  21. So what will the price be? Is it $299 or $199?

I just called the Verizon store near where I live to try and confirm this, and they just told me that the Galaxy Nexus WAS supposed to go on preorder tomorrow, but they had word to hold it back until further notice. He didn’t know why they held it back, and he told me that they really don’t get word until about 3 days before preorder time.

So looks like another day where my hopes are raised and crushed…I need to stop doing this to myself. =(

  23. Verizon I hope this delay wasn’t due to the excessive amount of bloatware tainting this fine galaxy nexus.

So looks like another day where my hopes are raised and crushed…I need to stop doing this to myself. =(

  25. If December 8th is true… gonna be a big day. Big day for Android and big day for metalheads. 7 years prior, the world lost a great guitarist and person.

  26. TOO BAD ICE CREAM NO FLASH SUPPORT TILL WHO KNOWS WHEN..

  27. SaltyGuest 3 years ago

Way to go. Just keep reprting rumors as if they are fact. *fantastico!*

  28. TOO BAD NO FLASH SUPPORT TILL WHO KNOWS WHEN! Always something.

  29. Jerry paganGuest 3 years ago

Called 4 of my Verizon stores in the area, all have said they are still waiting to here themselves! Say keep calling. I’m located in new jersey.

  30. SaltyGuest 3 years ago

“this is still no official statement from Verizon”
That apparently didn’t stop you from reporting it if it was!

  31. GriffinGuest 3 years ago

    hey all,

    question:
if i want to pre-order this phone do i have to sign up for the contract with verizon tomorow?
because currently im almost at the end of mine with AT&T but want to keep the phone i have in operation until the nexus comes out.

  32. I’d rather be a little patient and wait for a supply to build up. Although getting it on the 8th would make my whole ENTIRE YEARR!!!

  33. this is crazy but, i just called the verizon store closest to me and the guy not only said that they hadn’t heard anything about pre-orders for the galaxy nexus but also that his understanding was that it wasn’t even coming out this year. There is no way that can be right… but it makes me worry still.

  34. oo were oo were is the official release date oo were oo were it could be?

    • Said it once will say it again. Verizon is holding the nexus hostage. The exclusive is theirs and they simply refuse to release this phone.
Verizon has two phones out now rezound and razr.
Verizon is simply maximizing sales why put the nexus out when they don’t have to.
      they got us

      • MattGuest 3 years ago

Don’t forget that Google owns/will own Motorola Mobility…perhaps getting a few more Razr sales isn’t so bad for them?

        :-)

  36. They need to hurry up and announce a T-Mobile version. Just saying

  37. Wonder if it’ll come with the software fix

  38. Heroine HeadlinerGuest 3 years ago

Hidden due to low comment rating. Click here to see.

  39. Anybody hear an off-contract price yet? I’ve seen everything from $500 to $799.

  40. What a ridiculous release this phone has had. Just give us the damn phone already Verizon…

  41. Nice that there is finally a pre-order, hope to see this on other carriers sooner than later.

    • Most likely that t-mobile (and orange) as well as 02, however I believe 3 may not since they tend to focus on Apple and Blackberry being odd. I am not worried however of the bugs in the phones, since these will probably be built with the bugs fixed, or just the same way as the (apparently) faultless american ones. I personally am waiting for the HTC Zeta or S III from the leaks previously released on the site :D.

  42. Judging by the Bionic, releasing phones on time isn’t one if Verizon’s strong points…

  43. It’s a really nice phone.

  44. Don’t see it on the Verizon website yet. Is this an in store pre-order only?

  45. CindyGuest 3 years ago

My local Verizon store said they aren’t “allowed” to take pre-orders yet. He doesn’t know about tomorrow though. Not sure what that means.

  46. They really need to stop yanking our chains.

I went by my local Verizon store, and no one was willing or no one was able to provide me with any information.

They really have messed up this release.

  47. And ready for the downrates…….

Spoke with Verizon both instore and phone…. no go on preorder today. I even told them that they were killing us a slow death.

  49. I’m just waiting for this phone to come out because i know my ICS update will be coming right after on my Nexus.

  51. JeffGuest 3 years ago

  52. I got tired of waiting for this phone!! F em, I love my droid razor. It will get android 4.0 too.

  53. snowbdr89Guest 3 years ago

I want dick up my ass

  54. I was at a Verizon store yesterday and asked about it. The manager said he hadn’t heard anything at all about it. Plus, looking directly at my Razr, he said, “Your Rezound has all the same features and more, anyway.” So, yeah, don’t even bother asking at the store, I guess.

    • I concur. It seems that the least knowledgeable people work in these stores that sell smartphones. I always say I should work in a store that sell em because I AM knowledgeable about them and would never mistake a Razr for a Rezound, or even imply that either is to the level of a Nexus.

  55. This is the only thing I dislike about Android and Google (compared to Apple). They announce something and we just wait a long (sometimes long long) time till the official release date. I am a Nexus One user and have noticed since the release of the phone.

Oh well, at that end of it all it is still worth waiting for.

  56. MCGuest 3 years ago

    MC

  57. it still feels like it’s taking forever, december 8th needs to come.

  58. MCGuest 3 years ago

I just bought one on Amazon to use on my existing AT@T account…I am weak…and go to europe sometimes. :-)

The release date moved up to Dec. 6th for me!

    MC

  59. Still waiting on pre-order… Hurry up VZW this is getting a bit ridiculous! More than a bit actually.
