Verizon Galaxy Nexus release date “confirmed” for December

galaxy-nexus-top

I’ll believe it when I see it. Steve Kovach of Business Insider is reporting tonight that Samsung has confirmed to him that the Galaxy Nexus will launch on Verizon “in December.” I find it a little odd that Samsung would confirm the release window when Verizon is the one launching the phone, but the last rumored release date was December 8th.

Google has been saying that the Galaxy Nexus would be available in November, but with only a week left and no announcement from Verizon it doesn’t look like they will meet that goal. Word on the street is that Verizon has had difficulty reaching Technical Acceptance (final software certification), so I’m sure they will be eager to alert us when the phone is ready.

At this point I don’t really care when it comes out as long as the device is mostly bug free. Some of you who purchased the Nexus S last year remember that it shipped with a nasty rebooting problem that took Google almost two months to pinpoint and fix. Hopefully this launch goes a little more smoothly.

Yeah yeah verizon where is the unlocked version in the USA so I could use it on tmobile since by the time its out the next Nexus will be rumored with quad core, 1080p screen and etc.

  • spintrex

I say December 31st, might as well be, or hell December next year hopefully before 12/21

  • http://www.technogasms.com Sean Riley

We really should have started a pool on this release date. At least it would have made all the waiting a little more entertaining.

    • bruce080

Totally love this idea. My vote is on December 15th

I was in a verizon store with my buddy like 2 hours ago.. The manager told me he wa reading his notes around 4pm and he read that it will be officially announced tomorrow and that there is an agressive promo program in store also. Dont know if he was bullsh#$@%g me but when i saw this post i figured id mention it

    • Nathan

Thanks for doing so anyways =)

    • http://droidsamurai.blogspot.com DroidSamurai

I am 99.99% sure that he’s bullsh*ting. When’s the last time someone from your local store’s salesperson actually “know” something? Everytime I saw someone asking staff in Best Buy for some questions, I had a big sigh. With very few exceptions, those people just know enough to sell you a piece of cheese. Some of theme don’t even know which shelf a product was put on!

    • Samuel

a manhattan verizon store manager told me this over a week ago, that the phone will be out tomorrow which would have been november 17th. he was obviously wrong.

  • Richard Yarrell

I definately want this device no question but I will wait for at least 30days or more after the day it is launched just to see how things go after the device falls into people’s hands. I just don’t care for all the software glitches reported on xda developers site as well as the fact that NO FLASH exist which is unexceptable for any android device in today’s technology game. Today flash exist on over 98% of the internet so flash is the platform android was based on not HTML5 and until HTML5 can reach the same overall status as flash or until flash becomes part of the android 4.0 ice cream sandwhich then I will be playing the waiting game.If I wanted a device without flash then I would’ve brought that over priced fancy music player that apple sells. Yeah ..BLAH …BLAH…BLAH…They said flash will be supported by the end of the year well prove it until then I will be happy with my new Htc Rezound which is doing awesome on this day….

    • BiGMERF

Guess you will not be owning android past ics, adobe when they announced support for ics also said its the last of androids os it will support

      • Richard Yarrell

Yes it will be the last time adobe will support 4.0 ics which is fine IF AND WHEN IT HAPPENS. The new jellybean which won’t come out till this time next year should be able to showxase how great HTML5 is going to be which means that 98% of all websites better be html5 only NO FLASH. 1 YEAR FROM NOW MEANS NOTHING flash is android today and will be android for the near future it WON’T BE FAZED OUT THAT QUICKLY on the web that’s for sure. Talk is talk action is action flash doesn’t have to prove anything html5 has to do the proving or the entire platform will be just like apple USELESS…..

        • squiddy20

“flash is android today and will be android for the near future it WON’T BE FAZED OUT THAT QUICKLY”
You obviously missed Adobe’s announcement about discontinuing Flash for mobile… After Adobe has added support for ICS, they’re pretty much done. I think I’d count that as being “fazed out” extremely fast. Moron.
Also, HTML5 isn’t a “platform”. Flash is a “platform”, Android is a “platform”, iOS is a “platform”, but HTML5? It’s a web “standard”. Try and educate yourself juuuuust a bit before spouting such nonsense.

          • Richard Yarrell

As usuall your head is firmly planted up your …..fill in the blank I’m pretty sure you can find plenty of words to place there…Your a clown at best leaving me plenty of laughs on a daily basis. Regardless of adobe saying what ever they want to say in today’s world FLASH is very prominate and until html5 becomes on that same standard as flash all you are doing is TALKING OUT THE SIDE OF YOUR NECK AS USUAL….Don’t make me come and BITCH SLAP YOU…

          • squiddy20

            1. “your head is firmly planted up your …..fill in the blank” Once again, you told me a few days ago to “grow some balls”. Why don’t you do the same you little pussy? Beating around the bush with your immature “fill in the blank” crap is just downright childish. If you’re going to insult me, INSULT me you stupid worthless child.
            2. Flash might be “prominate” (it’s “prominent”, dumbass. Ever heard of a little thing called spell check?) but the average mobile Internet user won’t notice it because they don’t go to Flash intensive websites such as http://www.wechoosethemoon.org/ which is COMPLETELY made of Flash. I dare you to go to that website and see just how well it runs. My bet? It’ll run like shit because Flash sucks on mobile phones.
            3. “Don’t make me come and BITCH SLAP YOU” BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I’d LOVE to see you try dipshit! You don’t know my real name. You don’t know where I live. You don’t know anything substantive about me. Please, keep your empty, “useless” threats to yourself. What a moron!

          • ian

I’d like to follow you. Could you email me on what sites to sign up for or how to go about that. I love android and have learned a lot about android and ios and flash just reading about your heated argument. Although extremely childish from both sides. It is informative.

          • Kevin

Galaxy Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich will release WITHOUT Flash. Temporary apparently but that sucks. Pre-order tomorrow.

          • sgo

HTML5 has already proven that it is as good as flash. At least for the uses you will need it on mobile devices.

You can try HTML5 videos on youtube. Just go to youtube.com/html5 and activate it. What you will get is better video quality and better performance. Also, if you use any google product, you most likely use already HTML5. Even Adobe had to realize that HTML5 is the future, which is why they integrated HTML5 support in their future products (means that you can develop in Flash and/or HTML, results will be the same).

    • Tico4674

Did you make up the stat about 98% of the Internet using flash? Are you serious or just exaggerating?

    • squiddy20

      1. In “today’s technology game”, Flash is pretty much dead. Why do you think Adobe has pretty much stopped all future development of Flash? Why do you think Flash works so poorly on lower end phones? Why do you think Apple stopped support of Flash in their iOS devices altogether? I’d also like to see where you got this “98% of the Internet uses Flash” crap, because it’s definitely wrong. If that were true, I wouldn’t be able to access “98%” of the web on my Samsung Moment because it has no Flash capabilities. You are little more than a moron who knows nothing of what he’s talking about. Go get a better education Dick. You’re in desperate need of some common sense.
      2. “flash is the platform android was based on” Wrong again Dick. Android is “based on” the programming languages (Java, C/C++). Flash is nothing more than a medium to convey graphically intensive operations. Again, shut up about the crap you know nothing about. You only serve to make yourself look like a complete fool with comments such as this.
      3. I DARE you to uninstall Flash on your “precious” Rezound and see how little of the “98% of the Internet” REALLY uses Flash. As I said before, unless you’re a little child going to addictinggames.com, you won’t notice much of a difference. What a joke.

      • Tico4674

Correction he also serves to bring humor to our everyday android reading experience. Keep up the good work yarrell. What a tool! Lmao!

      • Weudel

If flash is 98% of the internet that’s only because porn is 97% … :D

      • Richard Yarrell

Wow…You still have that USELESS SAMSUNG MOMENT yeah I know it’s rooted I’ll tell you one thing that crappy samsung moment matches exactly who you are in today’s a person living in the DARK AGES OF TECHNOLOGY..Piss on apple and it’s sorry safri browser yeah I guess you enjoy going to sites and needing to use the mobile application because when you use the desk top version all you see a a major BLANK SPOT in the areas a video should reside. Yeah I guess that’s the new way of looking at the internet on your android device your an ”A” hole and I do use the term extremely losely…Do yourself a favor and go buy a real android device and experience some of the real world from a technology standpoint. I’m new to android but have already had the evo 4g, evo 3d, lg revolution, and now the rezound and that day will come when I too will have the galaxy nexus that is meant to be. What world do you live in ????Samsung Moment what a useless troll you are…..

        • squiddy20

          1. Ahhhh what a dumbass you are. I have a full sized laptop and easy access to wifi pretty much everywhere I go (not to mention free wifi tethering thanks to my “useless” Samsung Moment). Why would I browse the Internet on my tiny Moment screen when I can use my laptop just as easily? What a moron. You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about.
          2. “because when you use the desk top version all you see a a major BLANK SPOT in the areas a video should reside” Actually no, I don’t. On the RARE occasions that I browse the Internet from my phone, it’s usually to sites such as this, Phandroid, Android Police, etc. and except maybe in the ads, none of those sites uses Flash. Not to mention most videos come from YouTube, which, if I remember correctly, have mostly been converted to use HTML5, not Flash. Yet again, you show how little you know and how moronic you are for believing you know everything. Try doing a little something called “research” next time.
          3. “I’m new to android” Well considering you included the Evo 4G in your list of owned phones, and the Evo 4G is WELL over 2 years old, that’s FAR from “new”. “New” is a few months/weeks, not years. Dumbass.
          4. If I am “living in the DARK AGES OF TECHNOLOGY”, then how is it that I have outsmarted you/showed you up every single time you’ve stated something? I mean, “98% of the Internet uses Flash”? In what fucked up world do you live in where that is even remotely true? I supposedly live in the “dark ages” and I know that’s completely wrong. What a joke.

          • Richard Yarrell

I insulted you over and over again for so long it BORING. In real life I’d stomp you out it’s best to hide behind your fake names and tuff guy taunts your pretty lame in my book. You follow me on every site because your life SUCKS monkey balls. Your becoming a pretty sad BORE it must be pretty sad to be you. Keep on hiding that would be best cause in reality I would pimp slap you like the little bitch you are..Move on coward and respond to someone else’s comments instead of mines you LOSER..Samsung Moment great phone for a lame duck like you.

          • squiddy20

“In real life I’d stomp you out” Yeah, because of your immense weight… All of your pictures on Google+ indicate that you are a bald fat guy. I wouldn’t be too proud of that…
“You follow me on every site because your life SUCKS monkey balls.” No, I follow your sorry ass because it’s soooo much fun making you look like a fool. I can’t believe how easy it is to get you to say the most idiotic crap anyone can think of. By commenting further, all you’re doing is digging yourself deeper in the pit of stupidity. All I need to do is point out where/how you’re wrong and then you make even more wrong statements. It’s quite laughable.
“Keep on hiding” I’m not hiding. It’s called being “Internet smart”. Just like most parents tell their children not to talk to strangers, it’s best not to put all your info out there for anyone and everyone on the Internet to see. You have no idea how much crap I could dig up on you if I really wanted to. Just doing a basic google search of your name yields some pretty revealing sources such as page 2: http://boweryapplications.org/Images/mmDocument/Red%20Door%20Jun2007.pdf Quite pitiful how easy it was to find that.

You always speak the truth Squiddy! I am willing to wait it out if I have to. But i think we need a petition to stop Yarrell from posting. I think it’s bad enough, we have had to listen to his crap for over a year now.

        • Richard Yarrell

@Mr.B2L..Wow this sounds so original you must be Mr.Squiddy’s personal lady. Oh yes he speaks so much truth. I will visiting you guys in the BronxZoo today ..

          • squiddy20

“Oh yes he speaks so much truth” …As opposed to you? Stupid little you who stated rooting was for “2 plus year old devices”? Stupid little you who stated not even 2 days ago that Flash is used on 98% of the Internet without even citing where you got such obviously faulty info? Stupid little you who stated that “all” apps on the Evo 3D could be removed weeks after it was revealed that you could only remove the Sprint apps? Stupid little you who took all the RUMORS of the release of the Galaxy Nexus as straight from Verizon’s mouth? Stupid little you who stated that Sprint’s voice and data networks were one in the same and that data could be used while in the middle of a call? You mean those “truths”? By all means, keep spreading that honest to goodness “truth”. I’ll keep proving you wrong at every turn. Stupid stupid Dick.

@Mr.B2L..Wow this sounds so original you must be Mr.Squiddy’s personal lady. Oh yes he speaks so much truth. I will be visiting you guys in the BronxZoo today the animals there are so much more brighter than you two.

    • schofieldesign

Over 98%? why don’t you just say atleast 110%? Flash is too umm flashy. Html5 can do amazing things and have you ever seen an all flash site on mobile devices? They look terrible.its just not the way the Web is meant to be seen. Why do you think google has made the initiative to help companies improve their mobile experiences? It certainly isn’t with the help of the flash platform. Just look at howtogomo.com on your computers browser and then your phone browser. Mobile websites have to be simple in user interaction because mobile and desktop viewing are completely different experiences. Google knows this and that’s why they’re pushing html5. Just look at this site for example. The mobile version of A&M looks different from their desktop version, they both convey the underlying message and meaning of the site but address the needs of both use case scenario. More Web designers need to drop the flash act anyway because they are neglecting to reach a MASSIVE audience with it without Android. Flash should die. All hail html5 and WP.
okay i’m done with that and if anyone talks crap about Roboto you can expect a post twice this size.

    • btw

I can’t help bit post a reply to this. 98% is you made up numHrm lets see. Any computer that is runninber by you, and flAg isn’t what Android is based on… Are you kidding me? flash is over rated and over valued. I’m pretty damn sure html 5 is capable on running on MORE things than flash…

    • chris

Thought you have a revolution? You probably still are on sprint and won’t even switch to verizon like you say you will.

  • Nathan

At this poin the sooner it come out the better since I want this on other carriers as well.

Um 931% of the net uses flash. I love nerd fights.
is this phone worth the wait?

  • AC

This is my first time on this site, and I can’t hold back from commenting any longer…

Squiddy20 is not without knowledge, but more than makes up for it in arrogance and low self esteem. I can’t even follow the interminable conversation because (s)he is so full of acerbic, juvenile comments it reminds me of a 2-year old thrashing around on the floor screaming incessantly because (s)he wants her binky NOW! Really, Squiddy, it’s comments like yours who drive people with worthwhile intentions away from, well, everywhere you comment! I am not being patronizing or condescending when I say I know there is better in you. If you have something to say, say it. Don’t hide behind name-calling. The only time ANY human looks so small and pitiful is when they lower themselves to such non-(decent) human behavior. I hope as you grow up that sinks in a little, and wish the best to you and the person/people you are trying to climb over.

    • Richard Yarrell

@ AC…I agree with you totally concerning squiddy20 regardless of his knowledge. I have been pestered by this JERK not only on phandroid but on various sites that I go to and all he does is respond to whatever comments I place regardless of whatever comments exist from others he only responds to mines. I could care less about whatever he posts about me WE ALL CAME FROM SOMEPLACE AND WE ALL HAVE A PAST RATHER GOOD OR BAD. I could care less because what I am today and where I am today has nothing to do with where I was so I am proud to be who I am I speak into people’s lives everyday and those people are blessed. Mr. Squiddy20 remains hiding behind this tuff guy over the internet garbage because if he showed himself WE ALL WOULD LAUGH. I have nothing to be ashamed of myself and will not hide who I am because who I am and what I am about is exactly what I am about AND BASED ON THAT I KNOW HE WILL never be man enough to see me on any given day. Mr squiddy20 has been an “”A” hole for so long he better continue to hide he will always remain being this so called internet tuff guy but deep down inside HE IS A COWARD and I WILL FOREVER DARE HIM TO STEP FROM BEHIND THE SHEET he continuously hides behind.

      • squiddy20

        1. “I could care less about whatever he posts about me” If that were even remotely true, you wouldn’t even bother with a response. If that were even remotely true, you wouldn’t have stooped to such low standards to “insult [me] over and over again”. Otherwise, you do in fact care and you have just invalidated your own statement. Good job. Think next time before posting such obvious crap.
        2. “I have nothing to be ashamed of” Soooo you’re NOT ashamed of telling people their OPINIONS (which, may I remind you, are neither right nor wrong) were indeed wrong or “useless”? You’re not ashamed of telling someone to move somewhere else solely on the basis of cell phone coverage? You’re not ashamed of calling people “bums”, “useless”, or a “peckerwood” (which you have called me personally before), simply because they have a different opinion than yours? You’ve done all of those quite repeatedly just within the past few months. I don’t know about you, but I’d be ashamed as hell if I were you.
        3. I would just like to point out that you were banned at least 4 separate times from Phandroid and maybe only one of those times was because of direct association with me. The other three or so times were all on you. Same goes for Android Police and Android Central. I had nothing to do with your banishment from those cites “requiring” you to then re-enter the forums (stupid idea in itself) using a similar but different username. You talk about me being a “jerk” or an “a-hole”, fine. Give me whatever childish name you want, but at least I know when to take a really huge hint (i.e. being banned FOUR times from ONE website).

    • http://youtube.com/user/jawckamoe Marcus Nolasco

THANK YOU! Almost every single comment that Richard posts has Squiddy20 bagging on him, criticizing him in every way. I’m glad I’m not the only person who thinks that.

  • Richard Yarrell

@Squiddy20…I call you a total COWARD hiding behind your little vail trying to pretend like your about something WHICH WE ALL KNOW YOUR NOT..If you continue to respond to my comments then I will continue to FLAME your BROKE BUTT…I know as well as you do that your not man enough to step up in real life so please respond to some one else in these forums it would be best. Where I come from we never back down nor hide we are men the way men really are I already know that’s not you so just post comments and move on DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY OF MY COMMENTS FROM THIS DAY FORWARD..I hope you take this warning as it is written not as a threat but as a request because you never know what tomorrow can bring…

    • squiddy20

      1. The word you were looking for is “veil”, not “vale”. Try using spell check once in awhile before insulting me about my intelligence or how I “pretend like [I'm] about something”.
      2. “I will continue to FLAME your BROKE BUTT” A) Go ahead and “flame” my “butt”, you’ll probably get yourself banned from this website juuuuust like all the others. B) You know nothing about my economic status. Just because I own a Samsung Moment does not mean I’m broke. Maybe I just want to be thrifty about how I spend my money. Maybe I feel buying a brand spanking “new” Evo 3D is a waste of money. Maybe, maybe maybe. Truth is, you know nothing about me, don’t pretend to.
      3. “I hope you take this warning as it is written not as a threat but as a request because you never know what tomorrow can bring” Wow. Just. Wow. I might have gone along with your “request” had you not added on that last bit. Once you added “you never know what tomorrow can bring”, you just turned it into a threat. But I “applaud” your attempt at thinly veiled diplomacy. And besides, what are you going to do if I continue replying? You know nothing about me. My real name, age, physical description, interests, etc are all unknown to you. You’ve got nothing substantive about me, and therefore can’t touch me. Please, before you stoop to threatening people (as that is what your statement is, despite your best intentions), make sure it’s not an empty threat. You make yourself look like a fool if you can in no way follow through.

      • Richard Yarrell

Then show yourself little coward stop hiding. We all know you won’t do that. Your only fooling yourself my friend I laugh everyday you internet troll. Guess you have nowhere else to go.

        • squiddy20

Umm no thanks. As I’ve said before, it’s called being “Internet smart”. I don’t want fools like you attempting to try to find me and hurting yourself in the process. :)
And FYI, I do have “everywhere” else to go because unlike you, I haven’t been banned once, let alone 4 times, from cites like Phandroid, Android Central, or Android Police.

      • Mantastic

Ur a straight douche (Squiddly…whatever the hell)…Its very hard to really annoy me; but you have succeeded.

Truth is, Richard has a very valid point. Although flash is being phased out, there are a lot of websites (think cnn.com…motorcycles.com) with video and advertisements that do depend heavily on flash content. On devices where flash is not supported, surfing the internet can be a very frustrating task…much more that working with a device that does support flash.

To all of you critiquing this “98% of the internet” statement; use your deductive reasoning and assume he was using “98%” not a a literal, but figuratively saying…”there’s still a lot of flash out there”. I’m assuming some of you people are intentionally being anal.

Anyway, the absence of flash will bother you some for the time being…but they’ll be supported and the Samsung will be fine.

  • thekaz

I just want this phone to come out so I can finally compare it, the razr and the rezound… if they wait too long, there’ll be another phone I will need to wait for to see (the new HTC??)

    grr…

  • T.C.

Looking forward to comparing the Galaxy Nexus and the Rezound. Never owned a Samsung phone, but from reading around sounds like they are generally considered subpar to others (HTC, Motorola, etc.). Hope thats not the case with the Nexus. Not really digging Sense any longer (currently have a Thunderbolt), and love the vanilla Android from my OG Droid.

  • baldypal

I am on pins and needles waiting for this phone. Recently breaking into the appdevelopment world myself all research points too a vanilla Phone for best testing and development.

  • CapeCodGuy

More than likely 12/8 will be a pre order date for the Nexus. Adobe just confirmed they developed Flash for 4.0, now all the phones have to be pre loaded.

Yeah yeah verizon where is the unlocked version in the USA so I could use it on tmobile since by the time its out the next Nexus will be rumored with quad core, 1080p screen and etc.

Dont know if he was bullsh#$@%g me but when i saw this post i figured id mention it

    • Thanks for doing so anyways =)

    • I am 99.99% sure that he’s bullsh*ting.

    • SamuelGuest 4 years ago

a manhattan verizon store manager told me this over a week ago, that the phone will be out tomorrow which would have been november 17th. he was obviously wrong.

    • Guess you will not be owning android past ics, adobe when they announced support for ics also said its the last of androids os it will support

      • Yes it will be the last time adobe will support 4.0 ics which is fine IF AND WHEN IT HAPPENS.

        • squiddy20Guest 4 years ago

          • As usuall your head is firmly planted up your …..fill in the blank I’m pretty sure you can find plenty of words to place there…Your a clown at best leaving me plenty of laughs on a daily basis.

          • squiddy20Guest 4 years ago

          • ianGuest 3 years ago

I’d like to follow you. Could you email me on what sites to sign up for or how to go about that. I love android and have learned a lot about android and ios and flash just reading about your heated argument. Although extremely childish from both sides. It is informative.

          • KevinGuest 3 years ago

Galaxy Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich will release WITHOUT Flash. Temporary apparently but that sucks. Pre-order tomorrow.

          • sgoGuest 3 years ago

HTML5 has already proven that it is as good as flash. At least for the uses you will need it on mobile devices.

You can try HTML5 videos on youtube. Just go to youtube.com/html5 and activate it. What you will get is better video quality and better performance. Also, if you use any google product, you most likely use already HTML5. Even Adobe had to realize that HTML5 is the future, which is why they integrated HTML5 support in their future products (means that you can develop in Flash and/or HTML, results will be the same).

    • Did you make up the stat about 98% of the Internet using flash? Are you serious or just exaggerating?

    • squiddy20Guest 4 years ago

      • Correction he also serves to bring humor to our everyday android reading experience. Keep up the good work yarrell. What a tool! Lmao!

      • WeudelGuest 4 years ago

If flash is 98% of the internet that’s only because porn is 97% … :D

      • Wow…You still have that USELESS SAMSUNG MOMENT yeah I know it’s rooted I’ll tell you one thing that crappy samsung moment matches exactly who you are in today’s a person living in the DARK AGES OF TECHNOLOGY..Piss on apple and it’s sorry safri browser yeah I guess you enjoy going to sites and needing to use the mobile application because when you use the desk top version all you see a a major BLANK SPOT in the areas a video should reside.

        • squiddy20Guest 4 years ago

          • I insulted you over and over again for so long it BORING.

          • squiddy20Guest 4 years ago

      • You always speak the truth Squiddy! I am willing to wait it out if I have to. But i think we need a petition to stop Yarrell from posting. I think it’s bad enough, we have had to listen to his crap for over a year now.

        • @Mr.B2L..Wow this sounds so original you must be Mr.Squiddy’s personal lady. Oh yes he speaks so much truth. I will visiting you guys in the BronxZoo today ..

          • squiddy20Guest 4 years ago

        • @Mr.B2L..Wow this sounds so original you must be Mr.Squiddy’s personal lady. Oh yes he speaks so much truth. I will be visiting you guys in the BronxZoo today the animals there are so much more brighter than you two.

    • Over 98%? why don’t you just say atleast 110%?

    • btwGuest 3 years ago

I can’t help bit post a reply to this. 98% is you made up numHrm lets see. Any computer that is runninber by you, and flAg isn’t what Android is based on… Are you kidding me? flash is over rated and over valued. I’m pretty damn sure html 5 is capable on running on MORE things than flash…

    • chrisGuest 3 years ago

Thought you have a revolution? You probably still are on sprint and won’t even switch to verizon like you say you will.

  7. At this poin the sooner it come out the better since I want this on other carriers as well.

  8. Christopher GammonGuest 4 years ago

Thank god for living in the UK got my nexus being delivered on Friday, would have been here yesterday but due to high demands phone was over sold -.-

  9. They mess this 1 up big time it would be nice to have a unlock device so we can have it on TMO.

  10. hey should push out the update to previous Nexus phones now

  11. Hopefully this was the last time Google works with Verizon, or any carrier for that matter, this release was a total mess

  12. I hope they will initiate some bug extermination action before these phones are released.

  13. FamilymanGuest 4 years ago

My prediction is they’ll release it December 26…the day AFTER Christmas.

    • If that the case then might as well wait for the next big, tegra 3 anyone?

  14. reycapetilloGuest 4 years ago

Cmon you guys, fuck I want to hear what people say on the topic not a bunch of little girls whining about this and that! Take it somewhere else, please!

Um 931% of the net uses flash. I love nerd fights.
is this phone worth the wait?

  16. ACGuest 4 years ago

    • @ AC…I agree with you totally concerning squiddy20 regardless of his knowledge.

      • squiddy20Guest 3 years ago

    • THANK YOU! Almost every single comment that Richard posts has Squiddy20 bagging on him, criticizing him in every way. I’m glad I’m not the only person who thinks that.

    • squiddy20Guest 3 years ago

      • Richard YarrellGuest 3 years ago

Then show yourself little coward stop hiding. We all know you won’t do that. Your only fooling yourself my friend I laugh everyday you internet troll. Guess you have nowhere else to go.

        • squiddy20Guest 3 years ago

Umm no thanks. As I’ve said before, it’s called being “Internet smart”. I don’t want fools like you attempting to try to find me and hurting yourself in the process. :)
And FYI, I do have “everywhere” else to go because unlike you, I haven’t been banned once, let alone 4 times, from cites like Phandroid, Android Central, or Android Police.

      • MantasticGuest 3 years ago

  18. I just want this phone to come out so I can finally compare it, the razr and the rezound… if they wait too long, there’ll be another phone I will need to wait for to see (the new HTC??)

    grr…

  20. I am on pins and needles waiting for this phone. Recently breaking into the appdevelopment world myself all research points too a vanilla Phone for best testing and development.

  21. Really looking forward to getting some hands on time with this phone. Really wish it would be available on AT&T.

  22. Ahhh i was gonna switch from at&t to version, but the wait was hard and i could not pass up the SG2 on at&t for 50 bucks! My bud is still waiting tho, i just want to see ICS in my hand!

  23. CapeCodGuyGuest 3 years ago

More than likely 12/8 will be a pre order date for the Nexus. Adobe just confirmed they developed Flash for 4.0, now all the phones have to be pre loaded.
