Not much surprise in there for me. I got my Gnex so I don’t think samsung will top that at this CES until when they announce Galaxy S III which I don’t think it will be at this CES.

Well, that was corny as hell. HOWEVER…they seem to really be on the ball. Their tablets shown look great for the mainstream tablet purchaser, their TVs (and smarthubs) seem to be going exactly where they should be in 2012. Im interested in reading if their “Interactive” (aka Kinect ripoff) will be accurate or gimmicky.

Overall, their Series 9 laptop looks amazing and a front runner for me if i was to get a laptop. Their LED computer monitor looks like a front runner for me as well, top of the line stuff.

Rip off? Not really. I didn’t see a separate sensor anywhere. It’s a natural evolution of sorts for voice/motion control.

      • M3rc Nate

I didnt mean to really imply a TRUE ripoff, i just mean its identical to the kinect in its function (or at least how its supposed to function). Kinda like when PlayStation announced the playstation move, its not technically a ripoff of the Wii motion controllers, but it kinda is a ripoff.

        • Dirge

I never understood that type of thinking(no offense). How else would a company incorporate voice/motion controls? It’s getting to the point where that type of technology isn’t going anywhere(like 3D). It’s almost like saying, “[Company 1] ripped off [company 2] for using glassesless 3D panels.”
