redgs3

And in case a white EVO 4G LTE isn’t your thing, AT&T has announced its exclusive red Galaxy S III will be up for preorder on 7/15, with a release 2 weeks later on 7/29. Pricing for the garnet red Galaxy S III will remain at $199.99 for the 16GB model and $249.99 for the 32GB version. The move makes AT&T the patriotic carrier, with red, white, and blue variants of the Galaxy S III up for sale on Ma Bell.

Anyone out there going to get the garnet red Galaxy S III?

THIS is how exclusives should be done! Well done, Samsung and AT&T! :-)

It’s gonna look ugly, remember the red MyTouch Slide? Ugly, I have one sitting in the house my Daughter uses it, and it doesn’t have that faux brushed look

    Good going AT&T ($249.99 for the 32GB version) T-Mobile prices the 32GB at $329!

I dont agree with Tmo pricing cuz it will scare off potential customers.but truth is you likely are going to pay less ovee the 24 mos with Magenta. To me makes no sense that Att selling phone in VZ color!

Very cool, but I don’t know if I like that color. I’m surprised Verizon didn’t want something like this.

This is great for color option but this red doesn’t look good on the GSIII.

  • kazahani

I thought the GSIII was ugly in all the colors before I held one in my hand.

It’s the sexiest phone to me now. I wanna see it before I judge. I like this. Hopefully the other carriers get custom colors too!

I wish verizon would have gotten one like this but more of a red and not this like pinkish tint. Can’t samsung just release a few normal color phones? I mean why not have another option of black? That would really be a nice color for the sgs3 IMO.

  • mike

    Meh
there is reason why Samsung didn’t release this color

  • Tojen

So this will be the only 32gb verision that At&t will carry then?

  • skyflakes

    Still ugly.

And from the image, does it have a pebble blue back???

  • Stella

Nice! I have to see it close up to know if it’s a cherry red or burgundy. I hope T-Mobile gets an color option like a sexy black.

  • jonathan3579

I’m not really into this color choice. I won’t argue that options are good but this one just isn’t part of my taste.

Sidenote: Is it red? Maroon? Burgundy?

  • JIW

I’ve been seeing a price tag of $249 for the 32GB model for weeks now, but have found no evidence that it actually exists. Am I missing something?

I’m very happy with my Galaxy SIII, but I would definitely have gone for the red one if I knew about it! Many of my Dish co-workers suggested I get an LTE phone because it helps a lot when it comes to streaming. After downloading the Dish Remote Access app on my phone, I was able to stream live and recorded shows to my phone through the Sling Adapter I have connected to my receiver at home. Samsung has made a great phone, and I can say I have one of the best phones out there even if it’s not red.
