It’s still too early to say when the NVIDIA Tegra 3 Plus powered HTC One X+ will be made available to consumers, but new documents show that the FCC recently got to spend some quality time with the handset. The only new details revealed by the FCC certification documents is that the PM63100 model of the HTC One X+ features support for AT&T’s LTE network. NVIDIA announced back in May that AT&T had approved its Icera 410 LTE multimode data modem and promised that phones with Tegra 3 Plus chips and LTE connectivity would be available before the end of 2012.
The original HTC One X+ rumors indicated that the device was also expected on T-Mobile’s network, but sources claim that the handset launch has been shelved due to issues identified during testing. Specs on the HTC One X+ are expected to include 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and an NVIDIA AP37 1.6GHz quad-core processor. The look of the device is said to match the current HTC One X, but the rumored measurements (34.36 x 69.9 x 9.3mm) would make the device slightly thicker.
It’s hard to say if the HTC one X+ will be unveiled at HTC’s press event next week, but with its FCC certification safely under its belt, we wouldn’t be surprised if the handset showed up in stores in the next 4-6 weeks.
