We were pretty harsh on Verizon when it took them nearly six months to push an update to the Galaxy Nexus, so today we want to praise them for pushing out Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean to the Galaxy Nexus earlier than we expected. They were still the last ones to update their Galaxy Nexus to Jelly Bean, but the turnaround this time around was much faster.
Our Verizon Galaxy Nexus hasn’t received the update quite yet, but many readers have told us they received their notification this morning. Our friends at Droid-Life report that update is only available via WiFi until October 1st, so make sure you connect to a WiFi network and grab the update file before it’s too late.
