    Snazzy!

I totally want the official specs now please!

  • Hinds2009

360 view is pretty neat. I’m liking the look alot of the lg nexus. Hopefully Google has some goodies to announce at launch!

  • halo0

Good lord that chrome trim is hideous! WTF.

  • vforvortex

That looks really clean. Wonder if there will be any surprises left on October 29th, with leaks like these. :) So no curved form and no 3 pogo pins? i forget now, does this have wireless charging?

    • xallies

The curves made it so nice…. I was really hoping they would keep with that idea…

      • xallies

im slightly less excited about the device

      • vforvortex

maybe they were not able to curve it with the new display being True
HD (high-definition) IPS Plus display. guess we will find out soon.

    • Calen Burne

If you go to the source site and look at some other photos, you will notice a little dummy button looking area where pogo usually is. I’m thinking this is still a few steps away from a finished product. I highly doubt it will have access to screws on the bottom either, as seen in the other photos.

  • RonWeez

Wow device looks great until u see the chrome trim. Hopefully it looks better on the white version. It looks strange and out of place on the black one

  • Nate B.

It looks nice but I keep telling myself I wanted more out of the design.

  • Brian

I like how the glass curves over the sides. I think it’s a good look.

I would also like to see a thickness comparison w/ the iPhone 5. The slope going around the back should make it feel a little thinner than it really is.

    • skyflakes

Glass curves to the sides? Or is it just an illusion from the Chrome?

      • Brian

I can see what you mean, but I do think it curves a bit. Check out the first image in the gallery in the first article out of Belarus. The very far left side shows some change in the lighting before it gets to the chrome.

      • Calen Burne

It appears to have a similar curve to the sides as the LG G2x did. It makes swiping from the sides super smooth.

  • dm

    the Chrome has to go…

    • ButcherChop

The Chrome looks good. Plus i throw a cover on it anyway.

  • Dr.Carpy

Good looking phone. I thought was okay, but now I like the fact the chrome isn’t superfluous. I like the micro sd card slot on the side even more!

Ha, like the Nexus before it, right? ;-)

      • http://www.focuszonedevelopment.com Homncruse

Because nobody bought the Galaxy Nexus or the Nexus S. *eyeroll*

  • CTown

Hey, where did the glitter go?

  • skyflakes

Chrome looks fine. I mean, it’s not as wide as the Galaxy Ace’s (hideous!).

It’s okay. It looks too much like GNex though.

    • skyflakes

And it looks like it’s going to have a non-removable battery? It has a micro sim slot at the left side, just like the one on top of One X.

    • RonWeez

I’m surprised no one has said it but I kinda like the idea of staying with one form factor. It gives the average consumer some familiarity. I.e. the all iPhones resemble one another. Different yet familiar

  • Alexander drzfr3shboialex

Looks awesome :D. Probably selling my gnex to a friend. Plus I’m turning 18 on Monday so birthday $$$, Lg nexus here I come

  • CJ

    This POS is DOA!

  • thekaz

Maybe I am alone in this, but I liked the squared-off look of the Optimus G… this reminds me of my Galaxy Nexus…

Did I hear correctly? there’s no LTE version of this?

    • stenzor

I think it’s supposed to remind us of the gnex since it’s a nexus device. There will probably be an lte version on launch

    • vforvortex

Verizon and Sprint will probably release an LTE version that will get updates with a delay of 3 months like they did for the GNex.

  • turb0wned

To bad the HTC One X+ isn’t a Nexus… Its stillthe prettiest phone out there.

  • Pirx

I hope they stop this 8 gb nonsense. Games, maps, recorded videos, movies and other media need room on the device. Streaming ota does not work if you are underway, it not even works in my home wlan. I have 16 gb and need to delete stuff all the time, never would go back to 8.

  • iamXiV92a

    It’s a good looking phone but I’m still venturing a guess that it’s not a Nexus…
Looking back at previous phones, Nexus branded phones have all simply said ‘Google’ (Nexus One, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus) on the back while T-Mobile phones with stock Android say ‘with Google’ (T-Mobile G1, My Touch 3G, LG G2x, LG Optimus T)

Do a Google search for the phones I’ve listed… perhaps it’s the same reason it’s showing up in 8GB/16GB flavours and not 16GB/32GB?

    • vforvortex

In one of the articles , it stated this phone has been with the guy for a few months, so it could just be a test phone and not the actual Nexus.

  • Bpear96

Looks nice, but I wish this was real :D

  • Nathan D.

    awesome :-)

  • apo

Am I the only one who noticed that the Source included 2 pictures under the nexus slideshow which are, I believe, 2 pictures taken by the Nexus and which are really pleasing?

    • stenzor

They look better than what we’ve seen until now but still crappy

  • Gerrell Blake

Has anybody been able to clarify if the back is glass or plastic yet

    • zymo

The guy who leaked the device said it’s some kind of plastic.

  • Rick

Bring it out in white and I am in..day one buy..hope to make it a combo with the rumored Nexus 10..

  • blitz118

HTC One X+ here I come.

  • theandroidmaniac

Well , LG ? Why LG ? Seriously.
Also , what do you guys think of the wish list this guy has posted about android 4.2 – http://esponential.wordpress.com/2012/10/04/top-5-features-we-want-in-android-4-2-key-lime-pie-or-whatever-itll-be-called/

    I just need to know 3 things…
    1. BATTERY SIZE
    2. NOTIFICATION LED?
    3. PRICE

  • walker

I refuse to accept this as the final design. It was looking alright in the previous leaks. But now with a good look at it… Giant wasteful bezel, the bevel that surrounds the back is so… old. Silver rim, visible in anterior view is a close reminiscence of Samsung Galaxy S3 and iphone 3g.
LG’s own design wouldn’t have been like this. It would have consisted of angular sharp corners, no overbearing silver ring. Kept thin and sleek. Wasn’t the phone different with the benchmarked one? That one looked better and it had an micro sd slot. There are several prototypes, and I hope this isn’t the final one.

Looks like the son of the Iphone 3
