After first launching its Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android 4.3 update on Nov. 14 and then pausing it a few days later because it was causing issues for users, AT&T announced today that the update is once again going out over the air. The AT&T Galaxy S 4 is now receiving its bump up to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which weighs in at 727MB and bumps the phone up to software build JSS15J.I337UCUEMK2. Here’s what you can expect to find once the update dust has settled and you’re using your phone once again:
- Android 4.3 OS upgrade
- Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility
- Drag and drop to uninstall or disable applications
- Call reliability improvements
AT&T says that Galaxy S 4 owners can manually check for this new update by heading into Settings > More > About device > Software update > Check for updates. Here’s to hoping that AT&T and Samsung were able to iron out the bugs that users were having so that AT&T Galaxy S 4 owners can focus their Thanksgiving feasts (and leftovers!) rather than worrying about a buggy smartphone.
