T-Mobile Galaxy S 4 Android 4.3 update rolling out today

galaxy-s-4-top

Next Galaxy S 4 in line to be bumped up to Android 4.3? Why, it’s the T-Mobile variant! T-Mobile has announced in its official support forums that the Android 4.3 update for its version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be available starting today, November 26. Owners of the device can install the 781MB software package either as an over the air update or by hooking the GS4 up to their computer and running Samsung’s Kies computer software.

This new update brings the T-Mobile-flavored Galaxy S 4 up to software version M919UVUEMK2. In addition to an upgrade to Android 4.3, the T-Mo GS4 will be receiving support for Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch as well as its Knox security software. Considering how beefy this particular update is, I wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung and T-Mobile have packed a few other goodies in there as well. Once you’ve got Android 4.3 up and running on your T-Mobile Galaxy S 4, be sure to swing by the comments below and tell us what you find!

I got SMS in my Hangouts, and the keyboard is more gooder. Oops. I accidentally archived some text messages instead of viewing contacts. Ugh. Why doesn’t it pull profile photos for everyone?

If by “goodies” you mean space wasting crap, you are correct.
Can someone please explain to me why we accept being locked out of our phones and why we are forced to deal with sh##y apps that we probably don’t want?
We wouldn’t accept this on a windows comp, so why do we accept it on our Android comps?
