Verizon Moto X set to receive Android 4.4.4 update

Motorola Moto X

Motorola has been pushing Android 4.4.4 to various devices for most of July, and today that rollout is continuing with the Verizon version of the Moto X.

Verizon today posted a changelog for the Moto X’s Android 4.4.4 update to its support site. The doc says that along with a bump to the newest version of KitKat, this update includes the following:

CAMERA

  • Improved camera picture quality
  • Improved photos in fluorescent lighting
  • Enhanced dynamic range
  • Ability to pause video recording
  • Offers pause/resume button on the finder

PHONE DIALER

  • New graphical layout and colors
  • Improves consistency and usability

It’s great to see Motorola continue to push Android 4.4.4 to its devices, and hopefully we’ll see more carrier variants of the Moto X get the freshest version of KitKat soon.

If you’ve got a Moto X with a Verizon tattoo, then head into Settings > About phone > System updates to see if you’ve got an update waiting for you.

I have been using Moto X, for more than two months. After using it for a long time, I observed little bit of lag while handling apps. Then I came to know some about things to increase my phone’s performance by disabling animation effects, using developer options and so on. Also setting rintone on the device. I found these information on http://www.spinfold.com/set-ringtone-on-moto-e-moto-g-and-moto-x/ and http://www.spinfold.com/moto-g-tips-and-tricks/.
