LG G Watch R availability announced

Those looking for an alternative to the Motorola Moto 360 should be pleased to hear that the retail launch of the LG G Watch R is only a few weeks out. LG has announced that the G Watch R will make its retail debut in western Europe “in the beginning of November” with key markets in North America, Asia and Eastern Europe coming online “soon after.” Like other Android Wear smartwatches, LG is planning to sell the G Watch R through Google Play as well.

Specs on the LG G Watch are include a 1.3-inch round P-OLED (320 x 320 pixel) display, 410mAh battery, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC and 4GB of internal storage wrapped inside a IP67 water resistant stainless steel shell. The G Watch R isn’t as flashy as the Moto 360, but it is the first Android Wear smartwatch which could easily be mistaken for a traditional time piece.

‘The G Watch R isn’t as flashy as the Moto 360′, the Moto 360 is just a circle with a band. How is that at all flashy? I have the 360 already, but might also get the G watch R.
