Verizon HTC One (M8) getting Eye Experience update today

The HTC One (M8) on Verizon will be getting its dose of the Eye Experience camera update today. HTC’s Mo Versi tweeted yesterday that the update will start rolling out today around noon. The HTC Eye Experience update has been rolling out to different variants of the HTC One (M8) over the past week. We’ve seen the unlocked version receive it and just yesterday, it was released for T-Mobile One (M8) owners.

The Eye Experience update, which was announced at HTC’s recent Double Exposure event, brings some new features and improvements to the camera. These include Live Makeup, advanced face tracking, Crop Me In and Split Capture, which allows you to use the front and rear facing cameras at the same time. There’s nothing groundbreaking to be found, but it’s a key component of HTC’s Advantage program, which ensures that a phone will stay updated through its lifetime.

Verizon One (M8) owners, let us know when you start getting the update!
